"I recently had the pleasure of working with Erik from First State Ponds, and I can't recommend him enough. Erik traveled all the way from Delaware to Maryland to service my pond, which was having persistent issues with murky water. Before connecting with Erik, I had already been advised by another company to purchase a specific filter and pump. Thankfully, I found First State Ponds just in time. Erik took the time to explain that while the recommended filter might clear my water, it would require constant maintenance. He suggested a different filter and a stronger pump, but he was also willing to install the one I had already purchased if I preferred. After some consideration, I decided to take his advice and returned the original filter to have him install his recommended system. After struggling with murky water all summer, l admit, I was a bit skeptical. I wasn't sure that anything would truly work. But Erik's recommendation exceeded even his own predictions. I am a professional with over 25 years of experience assembling products for both residential and commercial customers. I have extensive knowledge with furniture, fitness, grills, etc. I am not a jack of all trades. I do assembly only. I remove all part stickers, touch up any scratches/nicks and adjust all doors and drawers. I respect my customers home/office and leave my area with the trash put back in the boxes and the boxes neatly stacked. So feel confident hiring me for your next assembly. I look forward to working for you. Things to know: I require all items to be in the location they are to be assembled. Assembler does not equal mover. If a box is too heavy do not be afraid to open it and move the pieces. This will not make the job harder or confuse me. Thank you for your cooperation. I do new assembly only. I do not repair/upholster anything or reassemble old items with loose/missing hardware and no manual. I do not hang/mount tvs. Not on the wall or on a tv stand. Not anywhere. I do not hang/mount things on or to walls/ceilings. I also do not assemble items that must hang/mount on or to walls/ceilings. I do not wear a mask. I am vaccinated and believe in the science not the politics. If you do hire me then require that i wear a mask when i show up or cancel for any other reason I will expect a $50 payment for wasting my time and yours. Thank you for understanding. ALSO here is a small list of items I do not assemble: pools or pool related items or pool tables, outdoor basketball hoops, wall mounted murphy beds. Altwork stations, Bestar, FUFU&GAGA, Hodedah, Inval, Love Sac, Manhattan Comfort, HomeCom or Soliwood furniture, Ikea Basta storage/tv stand, PAX wardobe/closet systems and Tuffing beds, any slip-cover sofas, egg shaped/air pumped massage chairs, pergolas, gazebos, chicken coops, sheds, saunas, wood/metal swingsets, trampolines and treadmills, baby gates of any kind. WORD OF NOTE: I am not 420 friendly. I am not judging anyone but if you choose to smoke in your home please do not send me a request unless I will be in another room away from it. A clogged or damaged vent pipe can trap sewer gas and push it back into your kitchen through the plumbing pipes. Loose or deteriorated seals around drainpipes can also allow sewer gas to leak out. If you can’t find the source, call a local plumber for expert help.

There are a few signs that indicate a failing drain field. For instance, if your septic tank starts requiring more pumping than normal, your drain field might be failing. Other signs to watch for include poor drainage after rain, standing water or sewage over the septic system, a strong septic smell outside, new and healthy grass growing over the drain field, and plumbing backups in your sinks, bathtubs, or toilets.

A gurgling toilet usually doesn’t mean that your septic tank is full. If waste can’t drain into a full septic tank, you’ll see water and sewage backing up into your fixtures, but the air that causes gurgling is a result of poor venting. You are more likely to have a clog in your vent stack or a damaged air admittance valve.

Depending on the size and location of your septic tank repair job, you may want to let the septic pros finish before tackling other backyard work. However, in some cases, it’s not a bad idea to coordinate between your providers if the timing’s right and your septic repair pro says it’s safe to do so.
