"I recently had the pleasure of working with Erik from First State Ponds, and I can't recommend him enough. Erik traveled all the way from Delaware to Maryland to service my pond, which was having persistent issues with murky water. Before connecting with Erik, I had already been advised by another company to purchase a specific filter and pump. Thankfully, I found First State Ponds just in time. Erik took the time to explain that while the recommended filter might clear my water, it would require constant maintenance. He suggested a different filter and a stronger pump, but he was also willing to install the one I had already purchased if I preferred. After some consideration, I decided to take his advice and returned the original filter to have him install his recommended system. After struggling with murky water all summer, l admit, I was a bit skeptical. I wasn't sure that anything would truly work. But Erik's recommendation exceeded even his own predictions. I am a professional with over 25 years of experience assembling products for both residential and commercial customers. I have extensive knowledge with furniture, fitness, grills, etc. I am not a jack of all trades. I do assembly only. I remove all part stickers, touch up any scratches/nicks and adjust all doors and drawers. I respect my customers home/office and leave my area with the trash put back in the boxes and the boxes neatly stacked. So feel confident hiring me for your next assembly. I look forward to working for you. Things to know: I require all items to be in the location they are to be assembled. Assembler does not equal mover. If a box is too heavy do not be afraid to open it and move the pieces. This will not make the job harder or confuse me. Thank you for your cooperation. I do new assembly only. I do not repair/upholster anything or reassemble old items with loose/missing hardware and no manual. I do not hang/mount tvs. Not on the wall or on a tv stand. Not anywhere. I do not hang/mount things on or to walls/ceilings. I also do not assemble items that must hang/mount on or to walls/ceilings. I do not wear a mask. I am vaccinated and believe in the science not the politics. If you do hire me then require that i wear a mask when i show up or cancel for any other reason I will expect a $50 payment for wasting my time and yours. Thank you for understanding. ALSO here is a small list of items I do not assemble: pools or pool related items or pool tables, outdoor basketball hoops, wall mounted murphy beds. Altwork stations, Bestar, FUFU&GAGA, Hodedah, Inval, Love Sac, Manhattan Comfort, HomeCom or Soliwood furniture, Ikea Basta storage/tv stand, PAX wardobe/closet systems and Tuffing beds, any slip-cover sofas, egg shaped/air pumped massage chairs, pergolas, gazebos, chicken coops, sheds, saunas, wood/metal swingsets, trampolines and treadmills, baby gates of any kind. WORD OF NOTE: I am not 420 friendly. I am not judging anyone but if you choose to smoke in your home please do not send me a request unless I will be in another room away from it. A septic tank lid is often 1 foot underground, but it could be just 4 inches from the surface or 4 feet deep. For septic tank lids that are closer to the surface, you’ll have an easier time locating them just by looking for signs in the yard or using a metal probe. But for septic tanks that are buried deeper underground, you’ll need to hire a pro with specialized equipment to track down the lid without risk of damaging utility lines.

When septic systems begin to fail, your waste will start to seep into the groundwater. You may notice a foul odor (it’ll smell like sewage) or a squishy, moist lawn. The grass right over your tank or drain field might grow super lush and green because your waste actually fertilizes it. Other signs include standing water in your drain field, slow-draining sinks and tubs, and gurgling noises in the plumbing.

Your toilet will still flush if the septic tank is full, but it might flush more slowly. It may make gurgling sounds as the wastewater slowly drains through the pipes. You may also notice the toilet clogs up more frequently when the septic tank is full, although this can also be a sign of other plumbing issues, like a clog in the pipes.

It only takes a few days for a septic tank to fill with water after a pro has pumped it. This is completely normal, and the water is a vital part of your septic system’s wastewater treatment process. The water that fills your tank days after pumping is not the same as the tank being filled with waste. You shouldn’t have to pump your septic system more than once every three to five years unless you have a tank that’s too small for your home’s water output or there’s a problem with your leach field. 

You should never pour antifreeze down the drain or outside on the ground. Because it's highly toxic, antifreeze can still impact people and animals long after it drains. Antifreeze can contaminate water and sewage systems, and any that gets into storm drains and water supplies can attract animals and harm those that ingest it.
