It went great, Ernie and his team were on time, and they coordinated with the local water utility, inspector, and service locator. The work he did was better than expected, and a great value as he was already 30% cheaper than the other quotes i received. As it happens we had another contractor there to looks at doing some upgrades, and Ernie chimed in to help explain what she couldn’t. We will be using them for anything the can do in the future!

After reading a lot of the reviews, I called Ernie on 410-803-2850 on Friday afternoon and spoke to him directly. (He says calling is much better than emailing for quick response!). 1. He advised I buy a Moen faucet prior to his arrival, and quoted an installation price. 2. He talked me out of upgrading my Badger 5, said he keeps Badger 5s in stock, and quoted a complete unit-with-installation price. 3. As I had already made sure that easy plumbing hookup and electrical outlet were installed during my remodel, he quoted a modest installation cost for the bidet toilet seat. We agreed on terms and set up installation date for noon Monday (non-emergency). He arrived timely, and went to work, remaining pleasant throughout. We were very pleased with his both his work and his conduct, and his price was reasonable. We then had him assess 2 other potential plumbing projects (replace a sink and install a Liberty SJ10 Sumpjet [water-powered backup sump pump]), and we plan to rehire him for both. It was a pleasure doing business with Ernie.

Total rip off. Stay away. Took out permit on my town home to check gas pressure. Called me the next day that gas pressure has failed said that inspector came out and sprayed the fittings (BTW inspectors don't spray fittings, they are not allowed to do so) He gave me 2 options $2200 to replace all gas lines or $9000 to convert everything to electric. PROOF ATTACHED. Turns out he used a faulty gauge to test the gas pressure. I had another plumber come out and everything passed with flying colors and he only charged me $250!

Service was great. He found the problem quickly. Every step of the repair was explained. No mess was left. Will definitely call again!

Great. I got an estimate to replace a kitchen and a bathroom faucet. I bought the faucets and called them and they came out the next day and had both replaced in under an hour. I would hire them again without question.

My grandson threw a cup down the toilet and we couldn't get it out.Cobra came out the same day. The plumber had to really work to get it out eventually taking off the toilet. I was expecting him to say we needed a new toilet. He didn't give up though. Eventually her got the cup out. The amount charged was very fair and reasonable.

Everything went smoothly & expertly. Ernie is a great guy who knows his business and gives sound advice. I trusted his judgement and will use him as our plumber.

They were able to break up the concrete of our townhome’s parking pad, dig six feet, remove the cruised sewage feed pipe to the city’s main line, and replace with denser, higher quality pipe in a day.

Our water heater failed in the evening and new one was installed next day. The price that was quoted on the phone was a little higher, but overall it was a little lower than Plumbcrazy. Was very happy with Cobra Plumbing. Thank you!

Everything went well. Mr. Tyler was very professional and did a great job with the repair and clean up. He had to cut through the drywall to repair the leak, and cleaned everything up once finished with the repair. The cost was reasonable and I was even given a discount for being a first time costumer.

Ernie at Cobra Plumbing earned repeat business from me. He tackled a challenging project replacing 70-year-old leaky fittings and pipes that did not want to be removed. I hired him back to replace equally ancient toilets that had been causing problems. The projects went more or less without a hitch, and when there were any issues or questions, he resolved them quickly. He was agreeable and reliable to work with. I thought his prices were reasonable and his work excellent. His cleanup is better than most. He is a solo act and his professionalism reflects that of a business owner. If I have future plumbing needs, he's a the top of my list.

This is the second time I have used Cobra Plumbing. They replaced a gas water heater several years ago and I was very pleased with the install. This time around my experience with Cobra did not go as well as I expected. I contacted them to replace leaky shutoff valves to my kitchen faucet and my washing machine. Ernie, the owner, was very responsive and gave me an estimate over the phone. He arrived at the scheduled time and proceeded to do the work. Though he did answer any questions I had, he seemed to be somewhat annoyed with me watching him work. He ran into trouble attempting to replace the washing machine shutoff valve, which was frozen, and ended up breaking the cpvc water supply line. He then had to replace the entire laundry shut off box/valve assembling in the wall which meant cutting out a good portion of the drywall surrounding the box. I knew there was a possibility that if the existing valve could not be removed, then a new assembly would need to be installed. I have two minor quips about the work performed. First is that in replacing the valves he used a ratcheting pipe cutter, instead of the cutting wheel type, so the edges of the cpvc pipe at the unions were jagged. This may be acceptable trade practice but it is not the preferred method if there is room to use a compact wheel cutter or small hacksaw which makes a cleaner cut. The second is that he did not offer to clean up after his work, to mop up the water in the basement or vacuum up all the drywall dust left behind.
