"Kitchen Makeover in your future? Look no further! LONG POST, BUT WELL WORTH YOUR TIME!! We've been in our house since the day it was built 13 years ago and like a lot of you, hadn't done much other than paint every room like 4 times. We recently redid the floors throughout in LVP and realized that now the kitchen was way outdated and looking really tired. We decided to research cabinet refacing companies. We ultimately chose 3 and had them out for quotes. The first 2 were the national guys, Home Depot and Kitchen Savers. We explained what we wanted and they both provided roughly the same exact quote (cabinet refacing, new doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes with dove-tail joinery, new sink, 3 additional lower cabinets and quartz counter tops). You would have thought that we were doing a remodel to the studs at the price we were quoted! Ridiculous! We were distraught, didn't think we were going to be able to do everything we wanted, but we're only doing this once so we had the 3rd company come out to quote. Tony from The Contractors Inc came out the next day. We gave him the same exact requirements as the other 2 and he put together his quote. Now let me step back a minute. When I say all 3 of these company's provided an "Apples to Apples to Apples" quote, I mean they all showed up with the exact same cabinet door/drawer samples, from the exact same manufacturer - the same one, not similar. Back to Tony … we finished crunching numbers and confirming the details and then he revealed the cost - 40% less than the national guys … 40%!!!!! My wife and I looked at each other, thanked Tony for his time we'd be making a decision soon. As a rule, we don't typically go with the low-ball quote but this was apples to apples and 40% less. We called Tony the next day and signed up. Fast forward to this past Monday. The crew of Diego and Biron arrived at 8:30am each day. They worked tirelessly, they cleaned up after themselves, but above all these 2 fine gentlemen (no joke - good humans) respected our home, our pups and treated our family as though we were their only client. Diego said one day while discussing the job with him "I look at every kitchen I do like it is going into my house". He has been doing this for 16 years and his (and Biron's) craftsmanship shined through. So … after all that, let me say - if you are looking to have your kitchen refaced, I highly recommend The Contractors Inc, and Diego and Biron. We are absolutely astonished at the quality of the finished product. Its like a new house! Exactly what we wanted … but better! "Excellent job; looks like a high end custom kitchen going from blond wood to sleek frosted white finish with additional cabinets to take storage space up to the ceiling. The hood is artistic and makes a statement. Custom craftmanship shows with the refacing of the island with darker gray laminate and the addition of glass cabinet doors. Simon Laurenco was very neat, precise, and professional. He worked on this project virtually solo for two whole weeks. Craig Newton came for the hood placement and was very skilledd as well and had some handy tools and gadgets. I am grateful to Adam Chandler, the consultant who did the initial visit and answered all our questions. Excellent service all around."
