"Robert knows flooring and provided exceptional professional flooring install for 3 projects. His team installed Luxury Vinyl Tile in my bathrooms, carpet on my stairs, and Luxury Vinyl Tile in my bedrooms. The install is quality work, the team cleaned up the debris, and my house looks so fabulous! I will use Roberts Flooring again and continue to refer others to Roberts Flooring!"

"We had almost 400 sq ft of tile removed and new hardwood floors put in the place. BR flooring had to tooth in the new hardwoods to the existing hardwoods in the adjoining area. After the install, the entire first floor had to be refinished, including the staircase and handrails, and a 2nd floor loft. the crew did the most amazing job. The floors turned out absolutely beautiful and Marcos and his crew left the house so clean. Barely any dust anywhere! If you're reading this and intend to refinish or install new wood floors, look no further. BR Flooring is the best!"

"Elegant Floors is an excellent company to deal with in all areas! Our floors look absolutely beautiful, the cost was very fair and affordable. Everyone we dealt with was fantastic. They were punctual, efficient, very professional and were very accepting of our needs. I had to reschedule the dates that work was to begin and it was not a problem at all. They were happy to provide us with the dates we wanted. The floors and house were spotless when they left! We can't say enough about how happy we are with this company. If we could give them higher than an "A" rating, we would, that is how pleased we are with their work and fair prices."

"They did have to reschedule my work once but that was only a minor inconvenience and they arrived promptly and completed the work as scheduled. I love the floor-it looks beautiful and their cabinet is nicer than anything I have found anywhere. It is pricey compared to the regular floor paint and the cabinet was pricey as well but my home was new construction and it really added the look of the garage.? The floor is very easy to clean and very durable."

"We originally contacted Heritage Wood Floors a decade ago to replace carpet on our first floor with hardwood. The workmanship was excellent. We referred him to family members. When we purchased a new home and wanted hardwood installed, we called Heritage. We couldn't be more pleased. We came home to a gorgeous floor. They paid great attention to detail and were as picky as we would be about each board they put down. The house was spotless, you wouldn't have known they were there except for the new, beautiful floors. The quality of work is excellent."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

To prevent your dining room carpet from slipping, consider using rug pads or grippers underneath to provide traction and stability. Additionally, ensure the carpet is properly sized and secured to the floor to minimize movement. Regularly check and readjust the rug to maintain its position and safety under your dining room table.

Laminate flooring is susceptible to expansion and contraction during temperature fluctuations. In the summer, laminate flooring is more likely to expand, possibly giving it a crowned or warped look. In the winter, when temperatures fall, the flooring can contract, revealing gaps between the boards. This is normal and should be expected when you install laminate flooring.

It depends on the kind you choose, but some types of carpet padding can last for decades. For instance, flat rubber—which is dense, durable, and higher-priced than other padding materials—has a life span of up to 20 years. On the other hand, prime foam—a lower-priced material that often comes free with a carpet installation—lasts less than five years on average.

If you hire a professional to install a new floor, you can expect to pay between $50 and $75 per hour for labor. It takes two days on average to install a new floor as part of a bathroom remodeling project, but your timeline depends on your bathroom’s size and layout.

In order to avoid long-lasting waves, indents, or sticking, it’s a good idea to wait at least 24 hours after fresh carpet is laid to put weighty furniture on top of it. However, you can begin walking on your new carpet right after it’s installed, and doing so can actually help it adhere to the floor better.
