"We contracted VKB for a complete master bathroom demolition and redesign. We got 2 estimates and VKB was the most reasonable. My experience with VKB was excellent from initial design with Sean, thru implementation of the new bathroom. VKB is a one stop shop, they design the new bathroom including picking tile, floor, toilet, sinks, hardware, cabinets in the store. They meet with you at home, create a schedule and assign a Project Manager. Jason was our PM and he was fantastic. He kept his team on schedule, kept in constant communication with us, let us know what was happening next for the entire job. They were clean, organized, trustworthy and very skilled. We could not be happier… (and we are not relatives or friends of VKB, we are random homeowners who chose them based on Yelp ratings etc)."

"I Hired John James property after having major issues with my first contractor during my complete renovation of my garden apartment. "I will begin from the end-HIRE THEM! We have been using EnviroBuild’s services for the last 10 years, since purchasing our house. They serviced us in 4 different projects, in which the last one was after a tree fell on our house. They came and start assisting us even prior to the insurance providing approval by covering the roof and getting someone to clear the large tree debris. They negotiated with the insurance and made sure that we will receive ALL we need to be done to include permits and inspections. "We hired Green Studio Builders to build a two-story addition on our home. The addition included a master bedroom suite, a kitchen, and a renovation of the existing space to match the new part. We also ended up digging the basement under the addition but have yet to finish it. We interviewed six builders for the job. Chris (owner) was by far the most realistic about time and money. Most were saying the job would take around 4 months. Chris said 6. He finished in 5. Chris does design/build. We already had architectural drawings done in advance but the first step Chris took with us was to improve them. Chris assigned us a foreman, who we had day to day contact with. The communication was great, the workers always respectful and the job site was cleaned up daily. We have two young children and we lived in the house throughout the construction. The team made sure to time the job appropriately to lessen the impact on our lives. For instance, they moved us out of the upstairs and worked up there through completion and then moved us back up there and worked downstairs. When it was time to demolish our existing kitchen we got plenty of warning as they prepped the area and worked with the cabinet makers on the delivery date to leave us as short a time as possible without a kitchen. We were amazed that we were without a kitchen for only three weeks as we have heard horror stories about kitchen renovations from our friends. Chris's team worked six days a week, every week. All of the workers are his employees with the exception of the plumber and the electrician, who were subs that he uses on a regular basis. The process was fairly seamless on our end. They worked with the county for inspections and allowed us the peace of mind to live life as (somewhat) normal for the duration. Another huge perk of GSB is that Chris's wife, Nicoletta, who also works for the company, helps with the interior design. She helped us select tile, paint, and fixtures that would match our style and she has an excellent eye. All in all, we were extremely pleased with the company, the process, and the final product! The work is top notch and we are constantly showing it off to friends (who are equally impressed). We will certainly hire GSB again when we are ready to finish our basement. Chris and Nicoletta are wonderful people and run a top notch company with excellent skills and service.

"We had a great experience with Mason and his crew at Sino-American. From the start, Mason's communication was excellent and he offered several design ideas that actually saved us money in the long term. We had two bathroom remodels done in our Takoma D.C. condo in October/November of 2019. Mason's team are highly skilled at their trade. The drywall work was exceptional!. His crew is respectful, punctual, and we felt comfortable having them in our home for several weeks. Mason took care of everything and was quick to respond if we had questions. We had a significant amount of tile work done and it turned out great. We couldn't be happier with our new bathrooms and glad we went with Mason. We would typically text with Mason throughout the project but he was always available by phone if needed. He also stopped by the project several times to check on the work and oversee the project. The bathroom remodels required complete demolition, relocation of plumbing, and framing. Mason is a great project manager and handles all the finer details and project timeline. He offered suggestions as the project moved along, and was sure to get input from us before he made any changes. While we chose the materials I'm sure his team could offer design ideas that would work well with any project. After seeing the completed product I would certainly use Sino-American for future projects and would recommend them to anyone.
