"Baltimore City Water Department told me I had a water main break somewhere between the meter at the street and the main cut off to my house. I called three different companies to get estimates. The first company told me yes it is the water main (didnà ¢à  à  t do any testing to determine this) and cost will be $4,000.00 to replace it. Second company told me I needed to replace both the water main and the sewer line (again no testing) and the cost would be almost $8,000.00. Mike Crouse from Atlantic Blue came out and told me he wasnà ¢à  à  t convinced the water main was the problem. He spent a lot of time troubleshooting the issue by cutting off water to various parts of the house and then checking to see if the meter was still spinning out of control. As it turned out the line that feeds the icemaker in my refrigerator ruptured and that is what was flooding a crawl space! I canà ¢à  à  t begin to say how grateful I am for Mikeà ¢à  à  s knowledge and attention to detail and he saved me thousands of dollars! I wish I could give him 10 stars!"

"The whole episode with remodeling the shower was a nightmare for us in the first place as we hadn't planned on it. There was a leak which was traced to the shower liner and that meant it all had to be ripped out. Allen was gracious to move around his schedule and work quickly with us and made this craziness more bearable.
Allen does amazing work! We've hired him before for other projects and have always been completely satisfied. He communicates exceptionally well on how the project is going, what else he needs to do, and additional options to make it look and function perfectly. He helped us find reasonably priced tile, gave us his professional advice on grout, and showed us pictures of various finishings in his home that he uses and recommends. 
He also worked around the nap schedule of my children or at least front loaded all the noisy work to earlier hours. Since we were in a time crunch too, he worked Saturdays and did the tile nearest the door section first so the glass door could be measured and cut quickly for an earlier install date.
Additionally, he moved the temperature control to a reasonable height, installed a diverter, and installed a ceiling rain shower. He hand cut all the tiles for the floor and explained to us what different materials were available to reduce the possibility of mold since it is a basement shower. 
Fair warning too - he will unlikely be your cheapest quote but I've had a few experiences with the cheapest (or cheaper) quote and prefer Allen's pricing and quality any day of the week."

"From start to finish Once and Done has been an the ONLY answer to our problem. And boy we HAD a HUGE problem. Shawn was amazing he took the time to explain the entire process [about 100 times] because we were nervous about tearing up the house even more than the water already had. He did not pressure us. He came to the house and brought the mold treatment before we even signed a contract. He recommended a contractor [josh martin] to help us rebuild all of the tearout and they both came to look at the project (more than once) to give estimates. The work they did is amazing, and they kept me calm and reassured as they installed the sump pump drainage system. They went over and above what was expected. The day they finished we had heavy rains for 2.5 days, and the house stayed completely dry. We are so pleased with the entire process from start to finish. We will definitely be using them again. See our garage has to be done also, but money is tight so we have to wait to install the sump pump out there until we save the money to do so. And OF COURSE we will be using Once and Done.
