The pine floors under the wall to wall carpet were easily sanded and the stain was predictable. The surprise of maple floors under the paint in the kitchen was more difficult to refinish and the stain less predictable. Benjamin showed our three stain picks initially on an area of newly sanded floor and then mixed stains and gave us four new choices with a perfect result for the one we chose.
