"Project: Coat Concrete Floors with Epoxy or hybrid Polymer. Quick, easy, and straight-forward with no hard sell!. Adam gave us the best price, quickly worked us into his schedule, and ensured the job was done right. The garage floor looks unbelievable! Adam and the technician were very professional. I'd definitely hire again and refer to others."

"I had a bad water issue in my basement and instead of digging up the concrete floor and installing french drains, Humberto addressed the issue of water getting in in the first place. He sealed and refinished our driveway and waterproofed the area where driveway met the foundation of the house. Also installed sump pump in landing of basement stairs and installed drains in the window wells. He was very responsive and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend!"

"I had MD Curbspace replace my old sidewalk, replace and widen my asphalt driveway and fix/replace my broken/uneven garage floor. Paul was great to work with. He came out and we walked through the job prior to sending me a quote, which was quite reasonable for the work. He also came out the day of the job and worked with me through a couple of changes that I wanted. The job was done in a day and looks great. Major improvement. My 30,000 lb RV is sitting in the driveway now."

"Romualdo fixed our basement concrete floor to make it even and prepare it for vinyl flooring installation. His services were reasonably priced and he took the time to advise us on the different alternatives that we had to get the job done. He was kind and did an excellent job."

From the initial consultation to the final installation, the entire process was smooth and professional. The team helped us choose the perfect flooring that matched both our style and budget. The installers arrived on time, worked efficiently, and paid great attention to detail. They made sure everything was properly aligned and finished beautifully. The new floor looks incredible and have completely refreshed the look of our home. "The men were here exactly when they said early in the morning. They started working right away after confirming how I wanted the rooms painted. Began the job with fixing a hole in the wall and crack in the ceiling. They took lots of care in protecting the floors and did a clean up in the end. I'm very happy with the results."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

While there is a lot to like when it comes to epoxy flooring, there are some disadvantages for you to consider. For one, this flooring gets very slippery when wet, which means that it might not be the best option for homes with young children and older adults. Using an anti-slip coating can help.

Also, the installation period requires a long curing time of several days. Wet epoxy also releases strong smells during this curing period, which requires proper ventilation and safety gear.

Yes, you can seal old concrete, but proper preparation is essential. Before sealing, ensure the concrete is clean, dry, and free of any old sealant. To check if resealing is necessary, place a few drops of water on the surface; if they are absorbed in less than five minutes, it's time to reseal. If you are using the same type of sealer that was previously applied, you may not need to remove the old layer. However, if you are applying a different type of sealer, the existing one must be removed. Additionally, repair or fill any cracks to create a smooth base before you begin sealing.

New flooring costs quite a bit, so longevity is important to think about. Concrete generally has the longest life span, but it’s not always a good solution for homes with wooden subfloors. That said, hardwood floors and stone floors can last up to 100 years, and you can refinish or restore them to remove imperfections from daily wear.

The prevention steps are essentially the same, no matter the patio material. Keep the surface clean and maintained. Ensure there's no debris buildup, and cover the whole thing in a quality sealant. If it's the start of a season or it's been a while since you've cleaned the area, use a pressure washer.

DIY is possible for small areas. Professional installation ensures proper leveling and finishing for durability.
