Justin Mason, general contractor, was friendly and very professional.  He assured us he would match wood installed years ago as close as possible for our project.  We trusted him. All Justin guaranteed was written in the contract including payment terms. Workers arrived as scheduled and were professional, courteous, efficient and completed the job in a timely fashion, cleaned up and replaced furniture. We love our floors. I would definitely not recommend Exus Contractors. I had been speaking to Justin Mason for a few weeks before the work began â he was always responsive before I signed the contract, and ghosted me afterwards. He always seemed to have a bigger project than mine on the same things I needed done. I had asked for references but he never gave them to me but showed me pictures instead - lots of them. I was impressed and hired him. Big, expensive mistake. I needed some touch up painting because my tenants were moving out. The paint was in pretty good condition and Justin even remarked that one of the rooms looked as if no one had lived in it. The work needed to be done timely because new tenants were moving in. Justin assured me that he had enough people to get the work done on time. I paid him a deposit and before he began the paint job, he offered me a price to recarpet part of the house. I had planned to have the carpet cleaned but I accepted on condition that the recarpeting would also be done on time. No worries, he said, of course, he would just bring in enough people to get the work done. I took him at his word. Paint disaster - the painter Justin brought was just awful. He made big splashes in vey single room in a paint color that so obviously did not match. There were no large parts of any wall that needed big splashes â just small holes from wall hangings, and a bathroom ceiling that needed repair. I offered Justin the chance to remedy the damage. Instead, he personally did further damage. As a result, I had to hire a new painter and repaint the entire house at considerable expense. Carpeting â the carpeting subcontractor, John, that Justin hired was professional and very good at his job. The problem was Justin. He had incorrectly measured the carpeting I needed by 40 percent and the carpet installer was unable to finish the job on time because there were insufficient people and not enough carpet to complete the work, which was delayed by a week. As a result, the new tenants could not move in and I had to prorate the rent. I also had to pay 40 percent more for carpet that I did not anticipate â I would not have done the work if I had known the cost would increase so significantly while losing rent at the same time. Also, some doors needed adjusting/cutting because the new carpet was thicker than the old one â Justin complained that he did not have a saw and would have to rent one. To expedite matters, I hired someone else to cut the doors because I was afraid Justin would have further delays. All in all, Justin talks big and smooth, promises and underdelivers majorly, which ended up costing significantly more, thousands of dollars in my case. Bad, expensive choice.

Installation of pre-finished wood floors was great and reasonably priced. John and his assistant on the team are very skilled and did an excellent job of putting in new hardwood floors; they were efficient and respectful of my property. I was not impressed with the rest of the team; the jobs were rushed and sloppy, made a mess on my property, and it showed in the finished product. Now I have to hire someone else to fix the mess at additional cost to myself because Justin may or may not return to fix the problem. So find another contractor if you are looking for anything other than hardwood floor installation; do not waste your money and save yourself the headache.

I am very pleased with their work. They were punctual, finished very quickly, and did a great job! I definitely recommend them!

Friendly reasonable and helpful

The carpet installation went so efficiently that it was virtually complete shortly after the time started. They were very respectful of my property, clean and most importantly installed the carpet and underlayment beautifully. The carpet is so soft and feels like Iâ m walking on clouds! It vacuums beautifully and is very high quality. I give this company my highest recommendation!

The work quality for the most part was good. I was pleased with almost the whole job. This rating would have been higher if two minor issues identified were fixed and within a reasonable time frame and if the scheduled time to fix these minor issues were not missed and taken care of. Also, the promised time frame was exceeded, not too much but still exceeded.

Justin's crew did a wonderful job. Craftsmanship is impeccable. Justin was responsive and understanding of our needs and completed the job in a timely manner. Our new cherry floors are the centerpiece of our house.

EXUS came out and gave a quote. They even expedited installation to assist us with moving and placing furniture. Outstanding value and quality work. Highly recommend.

Exus set a date & time for installation, and they kept it. The Owner and his crew were responsive to my needs and/or concerns, they worked tirelessly, and the end result was a floor that is beautiful. They are now my permanent Contractor, and I highly recommend them!!

I have had a chance to meet and talk to all Exus team members including the manager, Mr. Mason. I also saw and felt the wood floor they installed in my house. Overall, I found all of the team members very professional who set the highest standard to their job both in terms of quality and delivering every part of the job per the seclude we agreed. I normally dont like writing review, but I strongly recommend Exus based on the experience I had with them during my wood floor installation.

Was very professional and was very knowledgeable on the job I was inquiring about. Will also be doing some future jobs for me. Very easy to get in touch with. I am extremely satisfied with the job that was done I had my flooring done in the kitchen,hallway and bathroom and it came out beautifully....Highly recommend.

My old sliding glass door was terrible the cold would just past thru it. This company came in and put in a great sliding glass door that I really like and I like the attention to details in the install. Everything exceeded my expectations and the price was good.

Justin was very professional and friendly. We truly appreciated that about him. He did a great job in matching the new hardwood floors with our existing hardwood floors. This was a challenge because our existing hardwood had been in place for about 15 years, so there was some fading. More than any other contractor, he made sure everything was to our liking before the project began. And his timeliness was impeccable. He showed up on time to provide an estimate, he was on time beginning the project, and was on time completing the project. Justin seemed happy to make adjustments to the work even after the project was completed. None were necessary. I would recommend him to anyone and look forward to using him again for future projects in our home.

Everything was great they did excellent work and they were finished very quickly I would recommend them to anybody.
