"I am having a truly unpleasant experience with 7th State Builders. I paid 14,450.00$ deposit in good faith. They were contracted to rebuild my deck, place a roof structure and screen on the deck. I trusted that they would complete the work. Instead, they took my money and one year later had not even started on the project. Not only did they fail to perform the agreed-upon services for the deck, but I was forced to hire an attorney to try and recover my deposit. Which I haven?t yet (over one year). Thus, creating unnecessary expenses to an already frustrating situation. I would strongly advise against using this company. "Dmata rebuilt a circa 1929 brick retaining wall at our house that was cracked and in danger to failing in several places. They were able to salvage much of the original brick and mix it in with new brick to create a wall that looks like a perfect match for the original wall. They were also able to fix a number of drainage issues we were having in the front yard at the same time. We have gotten multiple compliments from neighbors on the new wall and it has dramatically improved the drainage in the yard. Dmata also repointed an existing slate patio and re-aligned an existing brick walkway on our property both of which turned out great! They are our first call for any masonry and hardscaping project and we would not hesitate to use them again!"
