"We recently had a retractable patio awning installed. The crew of Alika, Scott, and Dalton were very professional. They arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work. There install was absolutely fabulous. My wife and I were amazed at there professionalism and the way they kept the work area clean. When they were finished they made sure my wife and I were comfortable with the operation of the controls before they left. Clean up of the work area was spotless. Jeff Miller was our salesman. Jeff was on time with his appointments. He makes the decision very easy due to his professionalism and product knowledge. Michelle in the office kept us up to date with the order status and scheduling. All in all we cannot be more pleased with Garrety and will hire them for any future projects we may have."

"American Awnings was great. We needed to replace the fabric on our SunSetter awning and unlike the other guys that tried to convince us to replace the entire awning Anthony told us straight out that our awning mechanics were still in good shape.100% I would send my family and friends to him!"

"A new doorknob and lockset was ordered and was supposed to be included with the installation but after the door was installed it was discovered that no doorknob was with the new door. The installer had to go buy the doorknob and return to complete the installation which may have caused him to rush the job because the storm door was not replaced properly . I had to wait about almost a week for the installer to return and fix the problem. I then discovered that the entrance door was also sticking but I did not report this to the company because at this point I was just disgusted not only with the installation but also with the flimsy quality of the steel door which is a thin gauge of steel, very lightweight and very easily dented. This was one of Angie's Super deals that I had paid in advance for without ever checking the quality of the door first. I will never pay up front for any service again.

I have had the same company install all mu home's replacement windows about 7 years ago and I was so completely satisfied that I guess my expectations were too high for the same result with a replacement door.

"It went great. The door on the screened porch was disintegrated and needed to be replaced. He arrived on-time and started working. The door size we had purchased (the closest size door they had) was way off and, he could have just asked us to buy a different door. Instead, he was able to send us with a list of supplies, then he managed to modify the porch wall, re-screen the door area of the porch wall, and then hang the new door. He did a beautiful job."

"We knew the door was a custom size and that it would have to be ordered; however, the delivery date was 5 weeks later than the promise date. The hardware used by Master Seal tarnishes, has been replaced once and the new handle is already showing signs of discoloration. Company was very responsive on replacing hardware. Customer service is GREAT! Workers appearance can be a bit ''shady'' but the work was good."

"We selected Apple Remodeling's painting "deal of the day"  which was for two painters for one full day, to paint one interior room in our home, both because our bedroom needed new painting and also as a way to preview this company before making a final decision as to whom to hire for two much needed bathroom remodels.  Bottom line:  we were really disappointed by the lack of 'can-do' from these supposed Apple remodeling painters.  I say supposed because their work vans had another name, not Apple, and the painters did not give us a business card or a receipt when they finished the work.  They did not stay the whole day either.  
Other disappointments included: They asked us for a tarp to cover our bed! The lead painter said I was supposed to provide the coverings for my furniture - they only had floor clothes.  Finally they did say they might have something in their van when I could not find a plastic covering in my garage.  They balked at putting the curtain rods back and refused to re-install the tie-backs because I wanted them in a slightly different location and they said they were not equipped with tools to drill any holes or do any work other than paint.  We also had to supply our own paint and also had to hire a handy-man in advance to take down wall sconces because (again) they said they would not do any of this.  So this "deal" turned out not to be a "deal" once we added up all the additional costs from the items they would not provide. Frankly (and I told the lead painter this) we've NEVER experienced painters who spouted so many "no's" regarding the scope of work and what they would or would not do.  Therefore we will not use Apple remodeling for painting again and unfortunately because of this experience will not consider them as possible contenders to hire for our bathroom projects.  It's too bad because the company may very well be excellent at remodeling, but this 'branch' of the company or sub-contract work using the "Apple Remodeling" name was not satisfactory.
