"I hired a plumber through HomeAdvisor using prepay but I would not recommend this service. The contractor left a leaky pipe that caused water coming up through carpet. I had to purchase a wet vacuum to dry out the carpet. I had to contact HomeAdvisor again and hired Dave the Plumber, LLC who had to redo the installation done previously. Dave the Plumber replaced all the piping and outside spigot because of a water leak the previous contractor left. Thank you Dave the Plumber for being a professional and a job well done."

In addition to these fine qualities, John was gracious, considerate and willing to go the extra mile. He installed a top-of-the-line French drain in my basement, which included features not offered by many of his competitors. It was done in 3 days, to the exact specs he kindly sketched out in response to my questions. When a glitch arose with the backup pump, his employee returned to do a quick fix the same day. "We had them install an indoor sump pump (including digging the pit and pipes) and some basement walkout drain installation. They did high-quality work and finished quickly. Their price was the best of 5 quotes I received and so the value was high. The only thing that was not perfect was that communication was slow, sometimes they did not respond to texts, but they were good when they responded, and they showed up on time. "We have been working with Affordable for a couple of years now. To put it lightly, we have the basement from hell. When they arrived, we had some water in the basement and they quoted us based on their normal pricing. Once the concrete came up, we couldn't believe what we were dealing with. It is a constant flow of water that required two sump pits and an insane amount of work to install our drainage system. Every time they tried to dig a pit it would backfill with sand and water- they had to dig this up painstakingly- foot by foot. We thought for sure we were in for additional costs, but they stuck by the original estimate. Since then, any time we have had an issue or a question, they are quick to answer. Poor Kelly and Bobby probably recognize our number on the caller ID but whenever we make a call or send an email, we always get a response- usually with a visit on the same day. We highly recommend this company for their honesty, customer service, and quality work."
