"My partner and I chose Blackstone Kitchen and Bath for our kitchen remodeling project. We had received four other quotes from contractors and after much deliberation, we chose Blackstone. This group did not offer us the cheapest or the most expensive quote (they were more the "middle of the pack"), but we chose them because we felt they offered good value and were honest about required permits. In the beginning we worked with Joe - he worked on the design of our kitchen and we were pleased with the number of options he presented us, despite us feeling as though we knew what we wanted. Even though we had a plan in mind, we ended up choosing one of Joe's designs. We were pleased with the overall organization at the beginning of the process. The company uses buildertrend.com to manage and communicate with the customer about the project. It was easy to sign a contract with them and start the remodel. As the project continued, we worked with three other people - Justin (project manager), and Saul and Marcus (builders). We were extremely pleased with the quality of work by Saul and Marcus. Every day they came they were pleasant, respectful, and worked hard to get the job done. They were very professional and always left the house nice and clean after their days work. They were great about communicating any issues to us, and very willing to go above and beyond for us. I would recommend Saul and Marcus for your project! Joe and Justin's communication was quick and their responses were timely. We did however have issues during our project that had occurred more than once. We had a wrong cabinet ordered, resulting in a wait to re-order the correct one and to install it. Our backsplash was ordered incorrectly, and our cabinet hardware was also ordered incorrectly, causing a delay in this project. Justin was good about re-ordering supplies, but we did have to communicate our issues quite frequently about the erroneous ordering. We also had an issue with things not being done accurately - we were told by one manager that we could have a certain floor piece but another manager said we couldn't. When we decided not to do this, the floor slab was still ordered anyway. We had miscommunication about the electric work - it was a "he said this" and "the other guy said that" - no one spoke to us, the homeowners, before completing that part of the project. Overall here are our pro/cons: Pro: great workmanship, professional staff, Saul and Marcus were absolutely wonderful, project finished within time-frame presented, timely response from management when there was an issue Cons: a little costly, contract is very broad and costs are not broken down too much (aside from cabinetry, backsplash, faucet, and countertops) so there are some blurred lines when it comes to covering the cost of certain issues that popped up during our project, difficulties with getting the correct things ordered causing delay in project, some disjointed communications"

"I was interested in getting new kitchen cabinets, but I did not want to make any changes in the current layout.  I found out that refacing was the best option for what I wanted based on need and cost.  They were very efficient and professional.  I was very pleased with my new cabinets.  The only downside to the new cabinets are the brackets that hold the drawers are not equip to hold much weight.  So, the company has to come out to reinforce the drawers after installation."

"Great! He arrived on time, with the right amount of crew, tools and positive attitude! He was very experienced with Ikea cabinets and knew when we had purchased the wrong items. He also knew when to send me back to Ikea for different parts. Ikea made alot of mistakes and he knew that was common. He wrote down the numbers of the items i needed which was extremely helpful. He and his crew were fantastic and i would hire him again in the future. His prices were very reasonable and i appreciated that. I had two glass doors that were on back order so he said i could hold back $200 from his pay until they czme in. I called him on Sunday and told him i just picked them up. He told me they would be there on Monday morning to finish the job. Of course he arrived on time and he finished the job quickly. Of the 4 companies i hired to do various things in my kitchen his was the only one i didnt have issues with. I asked him to install the lights inside and underneath the cabinets and install the microwave. The lights were difficult but he worked hard until they were done. They make the whole kitchen shine! He was extremely reasonable with the microwave installation price. I asked him for several cards and already passed them out to people that wanted a new kitchen i told them he is the best installer i ever hired. He made this overwhelming project so much easier."

"We used Mega Kitchen and Baths for a gut renovation and remodeling of a home that we recently purchased. Mega did great work from design through construction, installation, and finishing touches. Ibrahim promptly met all of our requests, and their workmanship was excellent. Katherine Bradshaw was an invaluable resource. She helped us select all of the hardware, colors, cabinets, tiles, etc. We decided to go with Mega in large part because of a walk-through of the house with Kat and her drawings for the kitchen. In the end, we were very glad that we chose Mega. Kat was a knowledgeable designer who listened to us and provided great input throughout the process. Both Kat and Ibrahim were always accessible and returned all communications promptly. It was a big job but Ibrahim and his team finished on time (on a tight schedule) and were thorough about taking care of everything on our punch list. We interviewed a number of contractors and Mega provided experience, value, and customer service. In short, we highly recommend the company and will use them again for any future projects."

"We signed the contract on 27 June, work started on 8 July and was to be completed in 4 weeks on 3 August.  Paul and his crew, Hans and Willie, became a daily presence starting punctually at 9 a.m. and working until at least 6 p.m. The crew worked very hard, always keeping us informed on the work they would be doing that day and cleaning up at the end of each day (even during the initial tear down phase). Paul arranged to have all the debris hauled away promptly.  Paul came by the house most mornings to check on the crew's progress, resolve any problems and visit with us.  Paul was always able to spend relaxed time with us to discuss the project and flexible to adapt the buildup to the realities of the space within which they had to work.  Most critical was his work with the subcontractors and suppliers to ensure everything arrived on time and was what was ordered.  The vanity cabinets became the most critical project schedule path item to completing the project.  Paul pressed Norcraft to move the order up on their manufacturing schedule, but adding commercial shipping time delivery was not going to fit the overall schedule deadline.  To ensure the schedule stayed on track, Paul drove up to Pennsylvania to pickup and deliver the cabinets himself.  Paul and his crew were very professional, adaptive and delivered a beautiful project on time. They are licensed where required and skilled in tile installation, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, fixture installation and painting.  We count Paul as a friend and would definitely engage him and his crew again should we take on another remodeling project."

"They were okay. It was a little expensive for what we got. It is very versatile. They are heavy duty wall panels that have horizontal slits in it and the system hangs from those slits. The biggest advantage is that we can move things around if our needs change. I've had to reinforce a couple of the cabinets and the shelving in the corners. It is plastic but it holds up pretty well because it is protected in the garage. I didn't think the amount of weight it says it will hold was necessarily correct in all cases. The hooks have been fine. My only issues have been with the cabinets. The price is pretty steep. They were late and it took them several days to get it installed."

"These guys are awesome, they did exactly how i wanted for my budget. I got very nice cabinets for a lot cheaper than other providers that i have been. The project went threw very smooth that in 2 weeks everything was done. i was without my kitchen only for 10 days or so. Now my favorite place in my house is my new kitchen that looks and feels awesome. I want to  do my bath next year with these guys. I totally satisfied how they handle everything.
  I was very picky in terms of cabinet quality and style but Thanks for Mark and Sean that helped me a lot in terms of giving me advice to which one i should go with.
