They told me what they were going to do and did exactly what you and I had discussed. They were neat and the clean up was great. The job was finished in a timely manner . Second, about two hours after the job was completed, it rained so hard. The garage area, that was not part of the job, had puddles of water in it The sump pump area, where the job was done was bone dry!ð   ð   ð   I am very happy with what I see. Since the heavy rain, I have not heard the sump pump come on yet. I am waiting for that sound . Question, should the wall in the sump pump area be painted and if so, how long should I let the area cure? "$9,500 I was quoted for my concrete driveway and porch to be removed and a new concrete driveway and pad poured. I needed a culvert installed under the foot of my driveway for rain water drainage, it was agreed that a 4" pipe would work. When the crew came out to do the work, the demolition part went very smoothly but when it came to the drain I was told I needed an 8" pipe. The trench was dug for it including digging an 8" deep by 1 foot around hole in my nabors parking pad. Than I was told the grading was wrong. I told him water wasn't draining because the trench he dug for the 8" pipe he suggested was below the rest of the drain lines and the water will not flow untill it was leveled back out. He argued with me about it for about 3 hours wile the concrete was starting to be poured. After his own workers and I told him the 8" pipe would not work, we went back to the originally quoted 4" pipe and everything drained fine. After the concrete was completed the work looked great."
