I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. "Joey D, James, and Talib were hard workers who took care to protect the areas that were not impacted by their work. They cleaned up the work area very thoroughly. The work included removing dry wall and paneling from the exterior walls of the basement. They trenched around the exterior, installed 2 sumps and drainage channels, replaced 6 window wells, added new drain to the sump in the exterior stairwell, covered exterior walls with moisture barrier, and repaired the concrete. All work was completed in the 5 days scheduled. They communicated well and answered all my questions and concerns. Joey D, James, and Talib make a great team, are employees of JES, and will do a good job for you. They know what they are doing."

"My husband and I came across 7th State Builders online. Eddie came out to our home for our initial consultation. He was punctual and professional. He listened to our vision and took the time to draw out a plan and explain the process. He was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. We decided to do a big project at our home. For the back: a rebuild and waterproofing of our previous deck and a large patio to go underneath it with a fire pit and sitting wall. The front of our house needed some repairs so we had them redo our sidewalk in the same patio pavers from the back. The whole area in front of our garage was cut out and they put in new concrete and leveled it out. They rerouted our gutters to prevent flooding as the previous design was doing damage to our foundation. The owner, Chase, was very hands on and kept us updated the whole time. He frequently made sure we were happy with the way things were going. The whole team made this project an enjoyable experience. Iâ ll admit, my husband and I can sometimes be difficult people to please-But wow!! They really knocked it out of the park for us! 7th Stateâ s precision and talent is unmatched. You are truly working with people that know what they are doing and they are the best at what they are doing. Communication from start to finish was consistent and open. They were very patient with our ideas and they added to our vision in ways we didnâ t think was possible. The whole crew was professional and extremely hardworking. "Richard and his crew built me a 500 sq ft concrete patio. Unfortunately, the weather kept delaying the project, but they worked hard to get the job done despite the weather. They stayed late and were flexible with me and my needs. If I had any issues, Richard was quick to resolve and help out. Only thing I would change is that the weather (torrential downpours) made the work site messy, I will need to clean up some of the splatters of concrete on my fence and reprint a bit. But mother nature causes problems like this.

"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"It went wonderfully. The workers were professional and nice. They cleaned my yard every day when they finished working. I had a crumbling retaining wall. But to get to the wall they had to take down an 100 foot vinyl fence. Besides that, my neighbors shed is 3 inches from my property line. They could not bring in any machinery. They dug everything by hand. I was amazed how well they worked together. It really was like an assembly line. They worked fast and good. It took them only 3 1/2 days to finish the project. I’m so glad I decided to use A Plus Exteriors. They get 5 stars from me."
