He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. "Hired this company to replace some drywall and install an Acoustic Ceiling in my basement (Drop ceiling). I had my basement waterproofed a few years ago and the bottom portion of my drywall was cut out to get it done. Victorian Construction quoted me what I believe to be a fair price. They did a good job and im happy with the end result. The wife likes it a lot. I would use these guys again for another job. A prior contractor installed our drywall and did a crappy job. They fixed some of the mistakes from the previous contractor as well and made it look presentable."
