"This review is from work done last year. Mr. Handyman review 11/28/2018: Mr. Handyman (Eric V) sent a text with picture to say he was on the way. Overall, was very pleased with the work done and will use them again. Items fixed: Installed door sweep for the front entryway. Works fine. Took care of the draft. Replaced screen on porch door, and also stabilized the door frame. Working great."

Small jobs welcome

"Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value We hired Villa Silva for carpet removal, and they did not disappoint. Within hours of contacting them they called us and scheduled to come out the next day. They came to our home to give us a quote and said if we agreed, they could do the work right then. The value for the work was great, I would hire them again... and we will hire them again for future work. They did good work and did it fast without halfassing it. Would recommend for anyone who needs work done in/on the house"

Grill Assembly questions, answered by experts

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.

DIY is not recommended due to safety concerns. Professional installation ensures proper connections and compliance with codes.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.

Yes, professional services include proper fuel line connection and ventilation to meet safety codes.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.
