"This is an update to the previous review of CAC. Joel Cac has several business names. Bottom line is this guy is a total thief. He still refuses to repair the joke he created in my new home in Laurel. I had to hire several Contractors and spend thousands to correct the work Cac and Punj Holdings did to our new home. Punj Holdings is really Kuljit Singh and his gas station on 100 South Main Street in Bridgeville Delaware. Singh finances Cac and together they are ripping people off by building inferior homes with reclaimed products using illegal immigrants to construct homes that a third grade class could erect better. Mr. Singh has been convicted of bringing and distributing illegal drugs in our country. Now, he is building homes. If you see anything funded, built or for sale by Cac Home Builders or Punj Holdings...Please reconsider. Any person capable of bringing illegal drugs to our country that injured or killed many people should never be allowed to be in any business at all. I defended this Country and if my defense somehow permitted these two to function illegally and in full view? I am ashamed! Buyer Beware...currently Cac and Singh have a home for sale in Tussock Estates in Laurel. It has been on the market for about 200 days. I would like to see the home never get sold due to the inferior capabilities of these two criminals. "A 3-4 week job turned into 6 months all during the time I had a newborn baby! Was not reliable, many times when outside vendors were to work with him ie: permits, plumbers, electricians, carpet installers etc. no one would show as we were told they wouldn’t get back to him. Seeing the shoddy work of our basement they probably didn’t want to work with him. His painting overall was sloppy, our kids playroom had stripes-totally uneven and paint streaks in various spots. Molding throughout basement already splitting, electrical socket covers still have cut outs showing. We paid over $2k for new carpet to be professionally installed-instead of hiring someone who specializes in this he butchered our carpet and do it himself! Seams showing everywhere-not stretched to the walls so cement still showing-even got random paint stains on new carpet. Lastly he did our basement bath-shoddy work there as well. Paint totally not neat with splatter marks on a brand new $500 marble top vanity. Installed hand towel bar upside down. Railing made to match existing railing for stairs-stained different color even though he said he matched it. Even sanded it against the grain so it looks ridiculous. I def would not recommend his services. We reached out 4 times since he finished in September to fix these issues and he has ignored every call and text. He has since changed his company to Remodeling and Woodworks by steve Reitz. Trust me-I’m saving people a headache and money."

"We used this builder on the advice of another contractor. We are so disappointed. The simplest thing - putting composite decking down - was a disaster because they used the wrong screws (photo attached)! Our warranty is void now, but there's more! I was unable to upload all of the photos, but there is so much wrong I can't list it all here. The railings were put up wrong. The deck - even after three corrections - is still not straight to the house and so the steps are "crooked" to the patio. Because the composite boards have been reused three times now, we have holes with no screws (photo attached). He used 2x8s on the frame, but 2x6 joists - and when we asked where the joist hangers were - he added 2x4 hangers. On the screen porch roof we had to ask for gutters and when they were installed they were too short on both sides - so he stuck a piece of bent flashing under the shingles to "redirect" the rest of the water (photos attached). The entire project has been a nightmare and it's not over yet. Please do not EVER use this guy. I have no clue how he got a license.... and the best part? He put the WRONG license number on the contract!"
