"My house is a little wacky and the proposal was to include all of the crawl space and ceiling surface area. Sadly there was no way to know that a portion of both were inaccessible to insulate. Was hoping to fix issues with freezing pipes by insulating but that is the part they could not access. The scheduling and some staff on the phone is a little dry on the phone. The crew who came to do the job worked their butt off and were super nice. CJ, who drew our proposal, was very nice and knowledgeable. He warned me that his estimation might be a little off but the estimation of the Pepco energy saving percentage back ended up being way off after the energy audit. That made the job much more costly than predicted and I had not planned for that. He was willing to adjust the bill slightly but not significantly enough to really make a difference. Overall, it is going to make a huge difference in the comfort in the house and the crew was very professional."

"Debbie showed up on time and seemed knowledgable about insulation. However she had a hard time answering my questions because she was overly fixated on price. That's not necessarily a bad thing but it got in the way of me really understanding the answers. When the quote came in it was very resonable but when i emailed with a follow-up question concerning warranties, the lack of record on Angies List (despite being in biz for 100+ yrs) and a sub-contractor she was going to use for an exhaust ventilation, she wouldn't put some of the answers in writing until after I committed to using her company. After reviewing all of the quotes we received we finally decided to take a leap of faith because she seemed knowledgable and the quote was fair. i emailed saying we wanted to move forward and asked if i could i now get the informatoin i requested in writing. Unfortunately it's now been 5 days so we are moving in another direction. I bet the company does quality work but it won't be with us.

"I had a cedar shake roof on my home that was 22 years old.  It looked horrible--missing shakes, moss with grass--a real mess.  I got a brochure from E & R in my mailbox, and gave them a call.  They came out--extremely professional--and gave me an estimate.  They provided me with two estimates--one for restoring the roof and one for replacing it.  I was going to replace it but they told me I could get another 6-8 years with the old one.  I found that hard to believe. 
What they did was nothing short of amazing.  I have a big home--2 stories, 170 feet long and a roof that's about 5,000 sq. feet.  The roof now looks like it is brand new.  I can't believe it.  I've had many neighbors call to tell me how good it looks.  And I've seen the comments about scheduling--they arrived to do the work (it took several days of course) sooner than they said they would.
I can't give this company a high enough rating.  I'd hire them to perform ANY services they offer.  And no, I'm not related to any of them.  Just an excellent company, excellent service, very professional and personable.  The kinda company you wish all companies were.  Absolutely superb in every way.
