I did a major master bathroom upgrade (completely new shower, new soaking tub, new Wayne's coating). I got quotes from several competitors and Five Star Baths had by far the best design solution, the best materials (their Sentrel product had a far better look and feel than their competitor's acrylic), and a surprisingly lower cost. I was the most impressed with the quality of people I worked with from the sales person (Patrick), to the owner (Rob), to the designer/installer (Bo), to the office manager (Brittni). They were all very skilled, very experienced professionals, and wonderful to work with. I had tough schedule, and they went out of their way to accommodate me and get the work done on time. They are a great company with lots of depth. They exceeded my expectations in every area."

"VKB did an excellent job on both bathrooms, and replaced the damaged drywall in the dining room from the plumbing incident(s) that led to the decision to remodel the bathrooms. The work was completed on-time and (ever so slightly) under-budget. The PM (Jason) kept us informed and updated to everything that was going on and what to expect schedule-wise. The crew chief, Jonathan, was here every day working diligently and with an amazing attention to detail. I appreciated the craftsmanship he displayed, his explanations he gave to allow me to make decisions, and the consistency of having the same person in charge for the entire project. "Wonderful. Honorable. My toilet was leaking and I needed the flange repaired/replaced. I was quoted a price that was lower than a another company but still high, I thought. When the techs fixed the toilet, they realized it wasn't as bad as they thought. The original quote was based on a worse case scenario kind of thing. They could have held me to the quote but actually only charged a little over 1/2 the original quote. I was really pleased. As a woman it is hard to find contractors you can trust. The fact that this company and his men did an honorable act has won me over and they are now my go to plumbers. Yes. They fixed the issue very well. Oh and get this... They showed up on time. Winning....."

"My Kitchens & Bath was my 3rd estimate. I was 95% sure I was going with the 2nd estimate guy since he’s the contractor my friend’s real estate company uses so I had a first-hand referral. #2 was very nice and I’m sure he would have done great. But I told myself I’m getting THREE estimates this time around so I called MK&B and got an appointment for final estimate. I was torn between redoing the kitchen or a bathroom so I got 2 estimates. John from MK&B came out and was very nice and he took a lot more measurements so more thorough. I had already emailed #2 guy some questions after receiving his estimate (including when can you start) but he was too slow to get back with me and John beat him to the punch because the following day I had both estimates and he had answered some questions I emailed. John’s estimates was more professional with line by line items and prices. Overall had a much more professional vibe. I went to their showroom (very convenient near my office in Herndon) and picked out the cabinets, tiles, countertop, knobs etc. John would set me straight if I’m picking out something that didn’t quite go together. The workers did a great job, demo’d it all in one day and MUCH less messy than a previous reno I had done. Any questions I had were always answered promptly. I hadn’t planned on replacing the appliances but had a bit of luck in vegas so I got a new stove and microwave and there was no additional charge to install the new ones vs re-installing my old ones. I even added on a side job of replacing the ceiling lights in my foyer and hallway. Got his price to install, stopped at Home Depot on my lunch hour to buy them and dropped them by and that evening when I got home all 3 were replaced so I never have to see those generic gold uglies that came with the place. Took 9 days overall. SO worth it!! I’m absolutely in love with my kitchen!! Next year I’m doing the other bathroom reno and MK&B are at the top of my list."

It is beautiful. Alex worked with us in choosing the cabinets, countertop and backsplash. They compliment each other beautifully! All the workers were excellent and skilled at their job. They also replaced the carpet in our sunroom with flooring as well as replacing a wet bar. United Kitchen and Bath will be the first place we go for our future remodeling needs!"
