"I found Naveed (Global Renovations, LLC) while hunting for a reliable kitchen remodel company in Montgomery County, MD. This being our third attempt at trying to get the quality we desired at a price point we could afford, I was admittedly a bit weary. Naveed came well recommended, and put our fears to rest quickly by taking the time to understand our priorities before presenting options that fit our budget. He worked with us over the next few weeks to refine the project and design a beautifully functional floor plan that checked off all our wish-list items without breaking the bank. Having spent a good deal of time communicating with Naveed, I find him to be down-to-earth, and really easy to work with. Naveed was happy to share customer references, and his workmanship is truly impressive. For those looking for a renovation/remodel that maximizes value while delivering excellent quality, I have no hesitation in recommending Naveed. Meanwhile, I walked into our finished basement one evening to hear a hissing sound near the ceiling. With no visible signs of a leak, and guests at home, I (regretfully) ignored the issue. Sure enough, when I returned to the basement that night, there was a large damp patch on the ceiling drywall. This being fairly late, my only option was to turn off the water mains and hope to locate someone the next day. Not knowing any plumber, I texted Naveed, and he responded at 4:30AM! He promptly came over when we woke up, and after evaluating the problem (a corroded copper pipe resulting in a pinhole leak), he got the necessary supplies, making quick work of the repair at a very reasonable cost. Having the water back on saved us a ton of inconvenience! My confidence in Naveed has only grown and while our kitchen reno hasn’t completed yet, I know I have just the right person for the job."

"Our family home has always been clean and functional but after thirty years it had become more a picture postcard from the 1980’s than the warm inviting image we had in our mind. It was obviously time to update. Unfortunately, after talking with numerous contractors, it seemed we would have to reduce our expectations or spend more than we had budgeted to afford remodeling our “dining room, living room, kitchen” (and eventually bathrooms too!) project. While pondering our next move a family friend told us they recently had Rohan remodel their kitchen/living space and it looked great and was, they thought, affordable. The job was a total re-do and from floors to walls to counters to cabinets to plumbing to electrics and all were handled by Rohan and his team with time honed skill. The work was done in a timely fashion without ever leaving us wondering where people were or what they were going to be doing each step of the way. Every eventual ‘architectural surprise’ was met with candor, budgeted creativity and a hearty “no problem!” In the end our home was transformed ergonomically, aesthetically and affordably into a beautiful space where family and friends gather in happiness and in harmony with their surroundings. They were consistent with arrival and departure times each day during the project. Very respectful. They did an outstanding job from conception through to the last details in finishing an extensive series of renovations - complete kitchen tear-down and renovation, master bathroom and closet teardown and renovation, two bathroom complete retiling/renovation, building two new rooms out of a very large basement, and replacing two forced air HVAC systems - they managed all aspects including proper construction permits. They did high-quality work at a very good price. They did an outstanding job with the work, with high attention to detail. Their communication was very strong from beginning to finish, their initial plan recommendations were excellent, they made several recommendations to not only make the job better, but also make it more cost effective along the way. They were reliable and consistent, and very genuine, "real" people. I have to imagine there will be very high demand for their services. I can’t recommend highly enough. "We have used S&J Painting and Remodeling many times over the past 5 years, most recently (spring 2025) for handyman services. S&J provide services for a full day, so we typically accumulate a few projects. Our most recent project included replacing two faucets, fixing a very loose banister, repairing a hole in the drywall, as well as a few basic jobs, hanging pictures and installing bathroom fixtures. I expected to paint after the drywall and banister were repaired, but they took care of it for me. When replacing one of the faucets they found the supply lines were old and rusty. They went to Home Depot, purchased new supply lines and installed them at no extra cost. While there they picked up some brackets to secure some other loose pipes they happened to see while in the utility room. We really appreciate the extra attention to detail and doing more than we even realized needed done. We are already accumulating new projects. Scheduling and workday communication is excellent."

"We love our kitchen! Home Break Through did a wonderful job. The job ended up being a much bigger job than expected and Both Fransisco and Honika were beyond helpful with helping us understand what needed to be done to make the space as secure as possible. The end result is absolutely gorgeous. The one problem I have is with the wood floor installation. They dont feel quite as good to walk on as the new wood floors (installed by a flooring company) in the other room. And there was some attention to detail that was lacking when installing the wood flooring, in my opinion. There are some gaps and bowing of the floors. Also, they did not match it up well enough with the adjoining room and there is a weird gap there now. This bothers me quite a bit and as a result I would not hire them for wood floor installation again. Make sure you get Fransisco to do a final walkthrough with you, we didn't do that and wish we had."
