"They arrived early and worked most of the day. They removed and replaced the boards, which took time since they are on a diagonal pattern. Their estimate for the amount of lumber was quite accurate, there was minimal waste, important since cedar is expensive. The deck looks great. In between they patched a small area of drywall, where drywall had been removed to provide access for an electrical repair. This is the fourth year that I've used Mr. Handyman and have been pleased with the results each time."

The project manager and office manager of Deck Soldier answered all of my questions, but could have done a better job communicating on their own initiative what the crew was planning to do the next day when they left for the day while the job was in progress. All in all, though, we're very pleased with the new deck and I would Deck Soldier an A grade for the job. It was expensive, but you get what you pay for and I would recommend them"

They did it professionally, and they did it superbly. :-) They replaced 33 boards with vinyl, fixed the floor board and practically rebuilt my deck. It was sinking, and the bolts to the house were corroded. They replaced the support beams, and the bolts as well as brought the railing up to code.
