This contributed and was the cause of having to run the clothes through 2 cycles to get dried. Al thoroughly explained the issue and was able to ensure the birds were gone before placing securing screening over the vent to prevent further intrusion. When I heard what I believed to be birds in the vent again, they came out again for no charge (60 day warranty), and were able to determine/demonstrate that although it sounded like the birds were in inside the vent it was actually just the birds trying to re-enter (sound travelled to end of vent so it sounded like they were just inches away).
