"Everything was excellent. From the moment we had Advanced Granite solutions come out to give us an estimate, to picking out our quartz countertop, to the gentlemen that did the installation and the gentleman that did the plumbing, everyone was professional responsive and a pleasure to work with. Would definitely hire again"

"The individuals from Baltimore's Best Tub Refinishing did some excellent short notice repairs on my master bath tub.  I noticed about a month ago that the tub was leaking down into our half bathroom, a floor below and within a week Bruce was able to set up a date with me to have a template made for the inlay, and have it installed two weeks later.  Since the crack wasn't where the inlay would be installed, the team also conducted a repair to the leak/crack area, and used foam to add increased support to the weak spot the crack occurred in.  Bruce contacted me himself to walk me through the process prior, and even sent a video of what the inlay would look like.  The install and repair only took a few hours and upon completion, the team gave direction on how to properly care for the new inlay and repair.
Thank you again for the great work!

"We had a leak in our dining room ceiling because of a leak in our kid's bathroom above. We received many quotes to repair and replace, or remodel, the entire bathroom. The quotes ranged in price from $7000 to $20,000 and everywhere in between. And materials for the tub, walls and floor varied even more. Bath Doctor was not only the least expensive, they were the most responsive, really listening to and addressing our concerns. They also took the least amount of time to do the job--just 3 days and provided the longest lasting warranties on their work--lifetime on the materials which were all waterproof and low maintenance. It's been almost three months since they completed the work and we haven't had any leakage or any other problems since they fixed it. They definitely deserve a 5-Star rating and we will certainly use them again to fix our master bathroom."

"Company understood exactly what was needed and confirmed service by asking me to send pictures of the project. Professional arrived promptly with all materials and equipment needed. Bathroom worked on was well protected so that any dust did not reach other areas of the house. Work began on time and continued throughout the day with only stopping for very short lunch. Periodically areas completed were shown to client to confirm work being done was on target. Room was left swept clean. Marble vanity perfect shine, like new. Client very pleased. Greg and company wonderful to work with, they understand granite and marble."

"George's Painting painted the entire interior of our 4 BR, 3-story house, partially remodeled our master bath and did some repair work, all in one week. There were up to 6 workers in our house at any given time. It was a large job, and both George Sr. and George Jr. were very responsive and professional. We stayed in the house during the job and workers were considerate and courteous.  Price was very fair and we were amazed at the speed with which they worked. Either George Sr or George Jr checked in on the job every day, and both were very responsive when we needed to contact them. There are always problems with this large a job, and these were dealt with quickly and proficiently, even after the job was finished. We would definitely use them again.

"July 2024 I am CAPITAL CABINET REFACING’s newest “extremely” satisfied customer and genuinely feel morally obligated to share my most positive experience with this extraordinary company Please read my expression of appreciation that I sent to my team within an hour after the installation was “perfectly” finished. Allow my words to speak for themselves! …Sent July 20, 2024 to the Team that led and guided me every step of the way… Greetings again, Morgan, Ryan, and Jarvier from your #1 MOST PLEASED Customer! Your expert craftsmen, Jarvier, Julio, Isaias, and Nicholas, just completed their exceptional high-quality installation. They spent more than 75 hours in completing my work. I am without words to adequately describe my satisfaction and sense of "awe!" I shared with the team that in my 50+ years in working/ leading/ supervising teams that I have never witnessed a stronger, more knowledgeable, skilled, efficient, collaborative, and caring team than my 4 super stars! Believe me! It comes from my heart!! I interviewed 3 vendors before I decided to move forward with you. This project was selfish for me. I knew only enough to know I would not do it unless it was done correctly. I was not even convinced that refacing was the right approach. Initially, it appeared to be an inferior work around. Ryan convinced me that my initial impressions were incorrect. Morgan finalized the "deal" by graciously allowing me to inspect her kitchen and then sent me a sample of my actual new doors and the matching wooden veneer that would be used to over the frames of the original cabinets. As shared with your team today, I never say anything I don't believe. Every step of my working with you has been so extremely positive. You EXCEL in providing all of the required and non-negotiable BIG 3: Effective communications, Exceptionally high-quality products, and Masterful installation. I will repeat to you, that it would be an honor for you to use me or my "gorgeous " new kitchen in your work with future customers. You should be in business. We need your services! Capital Cabinet Refacing has proven to me, for the first time in my life, that if it's too good to be true, it CAN BE TRUE! With immense respect, admiration, and gratitude! DPKitchen"

"It went great! I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Their sales person( Mr. Williams), met me at the house and showed me several ways to keep the cost down. I had decided on granite counter tops for durability and maintenance but knew very little about the product. Mr. Williams took me to the show room that they use and answered all my questions about the different grades of granite offered. We found a color that blended well with my flooring. I ordered  the cabinets  and was not disappointed, and they arrived on schedule. The installation of the cabinets and counter tops went off without a hitch. I am very pleased with the quality and price that I paid. Next year, I plan to replace my current kitchen and I definitely will use this company again. Very nice and professional!"

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Yes, Corian® and other solid surface materials can be cut with standard woodworking tools, such as a circular saw or a jigsaw. However, it is crucial to use the correct type of blade to avoid damaging the material.

For a circular saw, a tungsten carbide-tipped blade is required; a triple chip grind blade is highly recommended. For a jigsaw, you should use a fine-tooth down-cutting blade. Do not use blades designed for cutting wood, as they can cause microfractures that weaken the edges of the countertop. A diamond blade is also unnecessary, as those are designed for harder materials like natural stone, which Corian is not.

After cutting, the edge will be rough. It is essential to sand and smooth the cut edge to prevent microfractures, which can eventually compromise the integrity of the countertop.

Engineered stone doesn’t need sealing because it is non-porous. The manufacturing process creates a natural stain resistant to moisture, which also makes it easy to clean.

In many cases, it’s worth it to restore stone. Stone restoration generally costs less than replacing the stone entirely, helping to save on the cost of your project while still giving your home’s stone a polished appearance. However, if your stone is very cracked or crumbling to the point of compromising the structural integrity of your home, you may want to consider replacing it. Stone flooring costs range from $6 to $20 per square foot on average.

A water-based, low- or no-VOC sealer is typically a good choice for marble countertops. Choose a sealant that is certified safe for contact with food when applying to kitchen countertops. For high-traffic areas, look for formulas that have heat-resistant and acid-resistant features. While there are economical and convenient spray-on sealers, they don’t coat the surface as effectively as the ones you apply with a pad or brush.

Silestone® is a brand of quartz countertops; one isn’t necessarily better, but they have their differences. Silestone® costs slightly more than the average quartz countertop because you’re paying for the brand name and unique features. For example, Silestone® is often more sustainable than regular quartz because you can purchase varieties made with recycled materials. It also has antibacterial properties and design options some homeowners prefer. Plus, you can use it across your whole kitchen rather than solely for countertops.
