Steve explained how he uses screws to reinforce each side of the crack, then applies a fiberglass type of tape that resists cracking before mudding and sanding. I hired him for his knowledge, pictures he supplied of his work, especially concerning cracks, and his thorough explanation of what he planned to attack my ceiling problems. This was a HUGE job. Steve protected the tongue and groove wood walls, fixtures, and cabinets with plastic and the floor with heavy duty paper. The finished work was just beautiful. Every once in a while you discover a professional that you keep in your records for any future work you may need. Each time it has been with different items: I have had my kitchen remodeled,  a deck torn down and rebuilt, a new roof put on, old fencing disc arded, and a yard cleanup. The only difference in pricing was for the roofing and even though ti was more money it was STILL CHEAPER than a dumpster!!! I don't know how these guys do it, but they pickup on time, without issue andfor the cost quoted. I have turned each of my contractors onto them - now they are using them.
