We prefer to be a cut above the rest and not give a low ball price to get in your home & then up the price. We will arrive on time, perform an on-site inspection & provide you with a STRAIGHT FORWARD PRICE up front in writing prior to beginning any work. A small dispatch fee is required to pay. We will send a licensed, certified electrician to your home in a van stocked with 1,000's of parts. All of our employees at Electrical Experts are drug tested and background checked for your safety. The technician will come out to your home, give you the "red carpet treatment" and a complementary 10 point home safety inspection. WE HAVE A 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE OR YOUR MONEY BACK! We now offer a 10% discount for anyone over 65 or older/ active or retired military personnel

"Larkin did an awesome job. She was very polite and curtious besides being knowledgeable. Would have her come out again."

Founded in 1994 by Al Powers, Powers Guaranteed Services (PGS) began by providing standby generator installation and service to the New England area. Over 28 years later, we have grown from a one-person operation to a company of over 70 valuable staff members and technicians who align on our core values of integrity, service, and communication, and we keep our word to our customers by consistently applying these values to each job we perform. PGS proudly employs licensed electricians, gas fitters, and EGSA-Certified generator service technicians (a certification which is earned by only a few generator technicians in the Northeast). Our factory-trained staff is continually expanding their knowledge to ensure we stay current on the latest developments within the industry.

"1) Installation with somewhat unique location and entrance into the house of electrical and gas lines. Electricians and Gas Pipefitter did excellent quality work, timely, neat, good steady pace throughout the day, including inevitable trouble-shooting. Site well-cleaned up afterwards. 2) & 3) Annual service agreements for both generator and minisplits always timely, well-executed, skilled personnel, and always polite."

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

The number of blades for your fan poses both advantages and disadvantages. Typically, the more blades on a fan, the better the air distribution and cooling effect, but this also means that your fan will have more wear on its motor. For small rooms, three-blade fans should work fine. For larger areas like living rooms, four or five-blade fans might be the better option.

When choosing a mounting bracket, you have the option between flush mounts and downrod mounts. Flush mounts are the better option for low ceilings as they feature a lower profile. Downrod mounts are the optimal choice for rooms with high ceilings as they offer a pole that adjusts the height of the fan.

Many ceiling fan mounts feature a design that can accommodate slight slopes by using a ball joint mechanism at the end of the downrod. If your ceiling has a steeper slope than your fan allows for, you can install a downrod that will allow your fan to safely hang below the slope.

Manufacturers of ceiling fan-rated boxes must indicate on the box that the unit is for that purpose. To check your model, remove the light fixture and look inside the box for wording that says it’s rated for fan use. If you don’t see words saying so, it likely needs to be replaced with an appropriate one that is rated for use with a ceiling fan.

There’s no reason why you can’t install a ceiling fan anywhere in your home, such as in living rooms, offices, bedrooms, and dining areas. Most bathrooms already have ventilation and don’t need a ceiling fan. For safety purposes, avoid installing a ceiling fan where the blades will be less than eight feet from the floor, near bunk beds, or anywhere else they may hit nearby objects.
