"My wife and I just had Joyce Cooling and Heating install duct work, air conditioning unit (Lennox) as well as a ductless mini split in our lower level. We received three bids for the project and selected Joyce for several reasons including, the salesman (Abe) that helped us and his level of responsiveness and consistent communication. We also liked the brands that Joyce partners with and installs - Lennox and Mitsubishi and from my research are the two best brands on the market. Our positive experience continued after we made the selection to hire Joyce for this large (4 day) project. They scheduled us in within days of making the decision and showed up early the first day (big bonus points in my book). The caliber of professionalism, courteousness, thoroughness and communication was present in every aspect of their work and across all of their employees. After each day they cleaned the work area and made sure it was left the way they found it. They completed the job earlier than expected and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Each employee we interacted with at Joyce was polite, informative, friendly and knowledgeable. I've had several HVAC companies come to diagnose and all of them told me different things: replace the whole system, new lines, etc. potentially costing tens of thousands of dollars. So I decided to troubleshoot by myself and pinpointed the issue: the filter dryer needed to be replaced. No company wanted to do this small job. I called Emerald HVAC and told them about my issue, they sent in José, who diagnosed the issue to be what I said. He replaced the filter dryer and the AC unit works perfectly now after several years! In short, Emerald HVAC will be my first choice for any HVAC work in the future. They are honest, professional, and reasonably priced. I recommend them without reservation!"

He completed the job in about for 3 hours which is exactly the time frame I expected. He left my home in the condition in which found, no mess. He even swept my garage and the mess was all mine!! The technition that gave initial qoute then revised the amount to a more reasonable 220.00 He was informative and helpful. Had they charged that much I would have felt like I was robbed. "The service tech arrived a few minutes after the end of their arrival window. Reception did call to notify a slight delay. No big deal here. We reviewed the steps I took and after some preliminary inspection the tech revisited the system bleed. No air this time. It happens the boiler in question is a Burnham Revolution, notorious for various cryptic failures. We were discussing the inevitable replacement option when he homed in on the primary loop pump motor again and realized it was locked up. It had everyone fooled as it was vibrating as if it was operable, but hot a Hades due to the frozen prop shaft. This gig would probably have summed up @$600 but for the tricky diagnosis and my loquacious tendencies. At least I know who to call when I'm ready for that replacement/expansion."
