He went about protecting the range top immediately below the microwave, removed the current microwave, made sure the mounting screws for the new unit were centered on the studs and did his thing. In roughly 2 hours, the old unit was removed and the new one installed. He even adjusted (centered) the new unit to my liking - not an easy task in a kitchen in which NOTHING is square. He also used a HEPA-filtered vacuum to clean up. What more could you ask? I highly recommend Bob. He's professional, knowledgeable, and experienced."

"Bertie was recommended to us by a friend for some work that he completed in Jamaica Plain. We recently built a 2nd floor on our cape in Milton and needed walls and ceilings in three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a hallway and stairwell. Bertie was prompt with his bid and was extremely flexible with his start date. He was finished with the entire job in less than four days, which was incredibly impressive. In addition, part of the demolition included tearing down two walls on the first floor and a strip of drywall by the front door. Without asking, Bertie fixed those as well and included them in the price. Furthermore, we are installing a pocket door and need to wait for that before drywall goes up, plus our plumber needs access to the shower before the durock goes up, and Bertie has already committed to helping us with those issues as soon as they are ready.
