"So we needed work done on our house wood on the railings and porch and a repaint of white on the trim of the front of the house. Early August Gary gave us a reasonable priced quote, he was not the cheapest but he lived in town and was a vet. Gave him the first check and signed contract - 75% of the scraping and painting was done and he showed up looking to see if we could advance him the next payment. His truck was "dead" and he could not afford the repairs. Yup we gave him the check for the next 3rd. then we never saw him again and to the point I waited out infant of his house to get a lot of excuses. Project started in Aug and his tarps and buckets are now snow filled on the side of my house and carpentry work has ever been done. calls not returned, work not done, promises broken but checks were cashed ASAP!"
