Since we COULD do it ourselves, we had a limit on what we were willing to pay, so we were getting several quotes … most of which were higher than we had hoped. Roberto worked with us on the pricing, which was good news because now it was off of our plate! His crew was there the early next day … fast, friendly, courteous, conscientious and neat! We are now looking to have Roberto and his crew back to take a few more projects off of our plate too! "I recently hired Coen Brothers Construction on a thorough bathroom renovation, and the outcome was outstanding. Their quality was excellent, and I am delighted with the final result. Their sub-contractors were also great and worked at the same high standards as the Coen Brothers. Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. Coen Brothers Construction also expertly handled all necessary permits and inspections, keeping me informed every step of the way. Overall, I am satisfied with their work and would hire them again for my next project."

"My house is on a little bit of a hill. Over the years, the retaining wall and brick columns lean out. I had just asked Franky to push it all back and repair the brick columns. This was incredibly difficult because of a concrete slab in one section and a large chunk of concrete attached to the bottom of the wall in another section. He had to repeatedly pushed and pushed on this wall until it was in the original position. After that, he drilled holes in the walls, the brick columns and the slabs, then inserted rebar and poured concrete to tie it all together. This was not part of what I asked him to do, but now, thanks to his hard work, this wall is probably 10 times stronger than it's ever been. In addition to that, in our sweeping up the area each day, I had pointed out a section of the sidewalk where one section was sticking up about an inch higher than the other, creating a big trip hazard. This was the city's responsibility, yet he took the time to do a very professional repair that I'm sure the city would be very impressed by. As I mentioned, this is one of the hardest working guys I've seen. You won't be disappointed by his work."
