"The move was very smooth and efficient! The movers were cordial, on time and such a delight to work with. They were very quick in moving our stuff from one apartment to another but ensured that everything was left unscratched or damaged. Would highly recommend Stairhoppers for your next move!"

"My girlfriend and I recently contacted All Service Moving to help us relocate our furniture from Seattle to Lake City, and the service from them was amazing! Brad and Donald were personable, professional, speedy, and thorough. I definitely recommended their service if you need lots of stuff moved quickly and hiccup-free. They wrapped everything up nicely (they were also very handy with their bubble-wrap, even using it as a doorstop when going in and out for easier access), deconstructed furniture with ease, and overall made the job look so easy!"

Small jobs welcome

"I had a great time working with Trend. They were very clear and explained everything very well over the phone. It was great because I felt like they would give me a straight answer, unlike some other companies I spoke to. They were also incredibly friendly when I called back multiple times to ask questions! When it came to the actual moving process, the guys were awesome! They came in and took a look at everything we wanted moved. They were great about disassembling everything, shrink wrapping if necessary to protect our furniture, loading everything in the truck, unloading at the new house and putting everything back together again. The fact that they had mattress bags and tv boxes made our move even more convenient and made me feel like my belongings were protected and safe in their hands. We got done in about 5 hours what it probably would have taken us days to do on our own!"

"Customer service was very friendly, and easy to talk to. They gave me a great price over the phone. The movers showed up on time to moved a piano. It was pouring rain when they got here. I was concerned until I saw them wrapping the piano with blankets, cardboard, and plastic stretch wrap. They were very professional and never tracked water or mud into the house. They took the same care delivering as they did the pickup. M&M Moving was definitely the right choice, they also had the best price by far!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

On average, it may take around three to five hours to complete the process of moving a hot tub, from disconnecting and draining it to actually moving it. The time required for hot tub moving depends on various factors, including the tub's size, accessibility, and distance to the new location.

The easiest way to move a shed is to roll it along a makeshift conveyor belt made of strong PVC pipes and a board. Alternatively, hiring professional movers who move sheds makes your shed-moving project as simple as making a call and writing a check.

To treat office moving costs as capital expenses, which means recording them as assets, they must meet certain rules: they need to be essential for the business to keep running, directly related to the move, reasonable, and documented properly with invoices and contracts. These costs can include packing, transportation, and setting up the new office. Once these expenses are capitalized, they're treated like assets on the books and gradually accounted for over time through depreciation or amortization.

Yes, you can move a tiny house on skids, although it will be costly to do so frequently. Skids are essentially hefty timbers you can attach a chain to to move the entire structure. People often build their tiny homes on top of the skids, allowing them to be more portable. However, it’s not as simple of a move as a house on wheels, so it’s a more complicated move.

The best way to pack mirrors is to use specially padded cartons or boxes made for mirrors. Be sure to thoroughly wrap the fragile mirror in padded paper or bubble wrap before sliding it into its box. That way, there’s a protective barrier in between the mirror and the box. Then, fill in any gaps with crumpled paper or additional packing materials.
