"A family of raccoons took up residence under our solar panels and caused significant damage to our roof. I initially tried to arrange a solar panel inspection with the company that installed them for us, but felt like I was being given the runaround when it came to quoting and scheduling the work, so I gave up and decided to take a flier on Green Sun Energy, and I'm glad I did - they quoted the work, we booked an appointment a few days later, then they did (as best as I can tell) a thorough inspection of the system. "In-home generator which came with the house. They rolled a truck for a flat fee - no problem. The issue was the unit was out of oil (had no idea - no manual came with the unit). They had a crew of 4 guys standing around looking at the unit for 30 mins and ended up charged me twice as much as the truck fee just to replace some oil. I wont be hiring them again. If they were "forgiving" of such a simple mistake, I would have agreed to a service contract. Too bad."
