"The house was built in 1950 and I bought it less than a year ago. I don't think the exterior had been stained in over 20 years because the prep work took most of the old stain off down to the natural cedar shakes. Al and his team did a fantastic job not just prepping the house which was a big ordeal, but also replacing any cedar shakes and wood trim pieces that had rotted over the years. "The team tackled a tough job of a badly deteriorating deck floor and railing. It took several days of sanding to get to a level and smooth surface ready for staining. In addition, they did window trim, fixed pulpy garage door and widow sill areas, power washed house and deck and painting a portion of siding that was peeling. Vinnie is a skilled painter and he saved our second floor windows by replacing the rotted sills. Our home was severely faded on the South side and the stain was peeling on the East sides. He sanded and primed the problem areas, applied 2 coats of premium solid stain bringing the appearance back to like new! The work on the trim included painting the shutters, replacing the worn downspouts and painting the faded ones. "We had Paulo paint and stain the exterior of our house two years ago and he did such a great job at a good price we hired him recently for a complete bathroom remodel, a new floor in another bathroom and putting a skylight in my den. He is an expert with logistics - materials and workers arrived as needed, all on a tight schedule, all expert at what they did and all very amiable. Paulo himself loves his work, enjoys design and selection of materials, and is good at it. He stopped by every day to oversee progress and was done in about ten days. His bid was well below the other bid I received. Many people have since complimented the work. He has a foreman who checks all work and does much of it himself, Daniel Peixoto, who is both an extraordinarily hard worker and is masterful on tile and carpentry projects. I truly believe that Paulo's attitude affects his whole crew, giving them a friendly and considerate approach to their work and a real attention to detail."
