I don't think the exterior had been stained in over 20 years because the prep work took most of the old stain off down to the natural cedar shakes. Al and his team did a fantastic job not just prepping the house which was a big ordeal, but also replacing any cedar shakes and wood trim pieces that had rotted over the years. In addition, they did window trim, fixed pulpy garage door and widow sill areas, power washed house and deck and painting a portion of siding that was peeling. Overall, a good deal of work done after a great prep job."

"Decor is the most professional, superb, easy-to-work-with, thorough, and excellent contractor I have ever hired for any reason. We had our whole first floor completed sanded, refinished, and asked for multiple coats of polly (have dogs). Not only did they accommodate this but we were able to live in another part of the house (and partially camping) while the work was going on. There was ZERO dust, as they use a dustless system. The mirrors on the walls; even with heavy sanding - NO dust at all. They are the model for how this work should be done. Marcelo also painted trim on our stairs and elsewhere (for no extra charge) which was above and beyond what he needed to do. He was always on time, professional, courteous, cleaned up every day. I would hire him again totally and put full trust in him. Look no further! Decor is the best."
