My house, porch deck and bulkhead needed painting. I received 6 quotes for the job. Universal was the 3rd lowest or about in the middle. I choose them because they had an excellent proposal that was very through and complete. Also when talking with Andre he gave me confidence that his crew could do a professional job. Because they could not start for almost one month from the date I accepted their proposal, they very very flexible about the deposit. Once they began the job they were very professional. Their prep was painstaking because they put so much into it. They certainly didn't skimp with the preparation. Once they started painting their crew did a meticulous job working very hard. My house, porch and bulkhead look fantastic. Andre was often here to check on the progress of the job and answer any concerns or comments that I had. I'm extremely happy that I chose Universal Painting and Andre da Sliva. I don't know how any of the others who quoted the job could have done a more professional job.

They were meticulous about their workmanship in both painting & carpentry. They were also punctual, neat and friendly..They even helped investigate a problem that the cupola on my roof had with leakage. They were a pleasure to work with. In fact, I plan to hire them soon for yet another project painting and repairing my storage shed.

I needed the outdoor trim of my house painted so I went through Home Advisor to see what would come out of that. Andre responded to my need and provided me with a very professional quote. I selected his company to do the work and I am extremely glad I did. These guys went above and beyond to deliver excellent work. I was a bit nervous as I was coming up against the Holidays and needed to get this work completed quickly. His team showed up very early AM daily and worked until sunset. This was a challenging job to ensure the trim next to newly installed shingles was meticulously painted. They met the challenge!! All other trim work was equally well done!! My wife and I are super impressed and would recommend them in a heartbeat. If you need painting done you will not be disappointed.

Andre and his crew are extremely hard working, and I would absolutely hire them again. Carpentry work was meticulous as was all the painting and staining which has made our house look brand new. They were very neat, cleaning up before they left each day. Nice people. They all seemed to really enjoy a job well done.

They are honest, hard working and deliver high quality work. They leave the site very neat each evening they leave for the day. If they find something extra that needs to be done, they will bring it your attention and propose what should be done and the cost. No surprises.

Andre and his crew are fantasticâ ¦.I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. Their work is excellent, they are prompt, courteous and fair. Iâ ve worked with many contractors and he and his crew are amongst the best!

Andre and his crew painted the exterior of my home and replaced 17 damaged clapboards. From the very beginning, the crew was on-time, courteous, cleaned up daily, and overall, great to deal with. Andre and his team do a fabulous job, they are attentive to details and super friendly. They just painted our house and it came out amazing but as impressive was how clean they kept everything while doing the work and closing down for the night. This is the second piece of work that Universal has done for us and it will not be the last. You would be hard pressed to find a better company to work with.

They also did my kitchen cabinets.Washed them first then restrained where necessar,y and then put a poly finish on.They look like new and very beautiful.I have never seen a work crew work as hard as these guys.The price for all my work inside and out was very reasonable.They are worth a five star and more.They cleaned up everyday. We hired universal Painting for a number of projects at our house - power washing, exterior painting, replacement of rotted wood, deck staining, interior painting and some dry walling.
