In addition, part of the demolition included tearing down two walls on the first floor and a strip of drywall by the front door. Without asking, Bertie fixed those as well and included them in the price. Furthermore, we are installing a pocket door and need to wait for that before drywall goes up, plus our plumber needs access to the shower before the durock goes up, and Bertie has already committed to helping us with those issues as soon as they are ready. I would absolutely hire Bertie again in a second if the need ever arises again."

"I hired Sam Handy to fix my drywall before I moved out of my apt. He was prompt and came in. He said the work would take 2 days. On the first day he arrived and sanded the area and mudded it. I provided all materials. I paid him $75 for the hour. I was a little skeptical of the work as some parts of the wall were missed. I noted this and upon him coming on Tuesday, Sept 23rd he said he could re do it and fix it during this work. I also confirmed with him he would sand the area. An hour later he told me the work was finished and I was incredibly disappointed with the work as the mudding was uneven as well as the painting. I pointed this out but didn t push on this as I was a woman alone with this man in my old apt."
