Stinky but beyond that we just let air out for a while but it disappeared in a couple of days. They finished the work in one day. The quality was good and they went beyond what they promised."

"We started out by asking Mike to work on the insulation of our sizeable attic.  We have contacted different insulation companies but Mike was the only one who took the time and effort to come up with an idea that could bring the attic closer to a finished space.  He explained every step with us and he was very patient to answer all our questions.  Mike and his crew were meticulous in sealing the work area to prevent any dust from entering the living and dining room, which we really appreciate!  Throughout the work, Mike has kept us posted of the progress everyday.  We were never in the dark.  We were so impressed by the work done in the attic that we decided to hire them for a few other things and all the results were equally satisfactory.  Mike is a great guy to work with--he was always responsive even though he had many projects.  He treated his clients as if they were their only client.  He never forgot a thing you mentioned to him. "The technician who came was a pleasant, competent professional who examined the unfinished attic to evaluateit w/r/t insulation only or insulation as part of a full finishing of the space. He took measurements and scratched out some information on his pad.. I told him that I intended to review my options before any decision. I offered payment at that time and he told me there was no charge for this service. It struck me as odd that he told me that what I had agreed to pay $19.00 for was actually free but I asumed billing would accompany an actual report/proposal. A month on I've never seen anything like a report although I have been charged via credit card for the inspection service. Perhaps the report-recommendation is still on its way? PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS REVIEW FORM REQUIRES A YES/NO HIRE AGAIN RESPONSE. I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO ANSWER UNDECIDED."

"Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."

"Because we were doing complete new vinyl Siding,Windows, and Gutters, We were nervous who to choose. I found Carefree Home Pros on the Internet and set up an appointment with them. They took about two hours and were very thorough. Their prices seemed competitive and their products had good quality. I did have have a few questions about the company so the salesman arranged a meeting with us and the owner to put our minds at ease. Considering we live at opposite sided of the state it was a very positive gesture. We decided to go with Carefree because they had a great product, Competitive price and a good work ethic. Because were wanted Anderson 400 windows it took 4 weeks to get them, but once they were here they started work immediately and finished in two weeks, just as planned.The house was stripped of all old siding, plywood was replaced where damaged, and the house was completely wrapped with house wrap. They installed my new windows in one day! The trim on the house was done exceptionally well with lots of attention to detail. The workers were pleasant and courteous and cleaned up before they went home every day.
We would definitely use them again. Our Home looks great,our windows are draft free, and it even withstood a hurricane with no damage.

"I awoke on Sunday morning, 10/30, after the early season snow storm to find that a branch had pulled down all of the power and cable lines that run from the pole to my house.  Richard at NE Renovations was able to get an electrician (Fico Electric) out to my house in a couple hours to assess the situation.  After the inspection, we were ensured that there were no immediate safety issues.  The crew returned the next day to completely re-run the power and cable lines and install new conduit on the house.  By Monday afternoon, I had everything back to normal.  The team handled this emergency issue quickly and effeciently."

"I needed insulation for my bathroom, and I have trouble with sheetrock. They removed the sheetrock in a timely manner and kept the mess contained to the bathroom (and did a good job cleaning up after themselves) and they installed a granite countertop for my bathroom. Everything was done correctly, they showed up on time, and were friendly. For the price I payed I would definitely recommend their services and will be a returning customer for future projects. 10/10"
