We always sign up for that $300 emergency program with this company where they come out once a year to pump our sewer. We don't connect to the county so that feat is well worth our money and then they come whenever we need them to pretty much. The guys they sound out are just really nice and they never complain about anything. We have manhole covers here that are always under a foot of dirt and they will dig out without even complaining. They're great about scheduling too and I like that a lot

The ABSOLUTE hardest worker and honest man I've ever met in business. The home was going up for sale and the title 5 on the septic did not pass. Mike personally came ( even with the flu) to start and finish the job so the house could be sold!( he was outside obviously so no worries about us getting sick) I recommend him to ANY AND EVERYONE! Best price as well!

I had an emergency - another company was replacing the pipe between my foundation and my system and discovered the tank was full. They couldn't complete the job until the tank got pumped. They suggested I call Stewart's. It's worth noting I had never used them before. Their dance card was full for the day, but hearing my situation they juggled things around and got me pumped out. Shout out to Rory (dispatcher) and Mason (pumper). Both were very polite, professional and helpful. I will be using Stewart's from now on

This company is fantastic, we've used them twice. If you have a problem with either septic or sewer connections being clogged, these are the people to call. They came right away when we had a problem over the winter, and then we moved to another house and had the same problem - toilets overflowing when running water in the house. They clear out the connections, clean up everything and are very thorough and professional. GREA

These are things you learn as a newer homeowner. Roots can grow into your sewer lines... I had no idea that this happened until the roots had choked off our line and backed up into my basement sink. All Drain came out within hours of my call, solved the problem, educated me on how and why this happens and left the basement cleaner than it was when they arrived. Professional, honest, and did a great job. Highly recommended

After having my frozen front yard jack hammered to find the septic cover to have the tank emptied I thought that I had a frozen drain pipe leading from the basement to the tank. The blockage was causing a backup now and I needed to have the whole system leaned out. I placed a call to All Drain Service during a raging Blizzard thinking they would come the next morning. To my amazement they offered to come right away. Well 45 minutes later they arrived to assess the problem. (It took me that long to snow blow a space in the driveway for them to pull into). The solution was to remove the toilet and snake the line all the way to the septic tank. If the pipe was frozen they would try to push through it. Their persistence paid off and they were able to break through the blockage to the tank. They had fixed the problem in less than an hour, cleaned up and were on their way. We are very pleased with their professionalism and would recommend them to everyone

"Steve did an excellent job on our home inspection! My husband and I are first time homebuyers and we were fairly nervous going into the inspection because (1) our new house is old (built in 1900) and (2) we had a lot of questions. Steve was able to book the appointment with very short notice, showed up on time, and was very professional throughout. He was very courteous and answered all of our questions - regardless of how small and/or novice - thoroughly and in terms we could easily understand. He was frank about what needed work/updating on the house and what didn't. More importantly, he did a really great job of helping us to understand what HAD to be fixed versus what COULD or should be fixed. He also talked us through what any repairs would likely cost and how long they would take (or how difficult they might be to do ourselves). His whole approach made the entire process a lot less overwhelming for us. He also took time after the inspection to speak to us openly about his opinion of the house and what we should do going forward (which was that it was a good house and we should absolutely go ahead with the purchase - which we did!). He was incredibly thorough in his inspection as well. While this may be our first time buying, my husband is in real estate and has seen many inspections on other homes - he said that Steve was one of, it not the most, thorough inspectors he'd seen. We spent 3.5-4 hours in a 1600 sq. ft home and covered everything including the entire exterior/property, basement, kitchen/baths, living areas, roof, attic, chimney, etc. While we only asked/paid for a home inspection, he also did an "unofficial" pest examination for us, for our own knowledge. After the inspection, he sent us a very detailed and easy to understand report the next day. While he was a little pricier than other inspectors we looked into, I think he was definitely worth the money.

Replacing a drain field requires digging up quite a bit of land and involves a decent amount of testing. Using this guide, you’ll learn how much it costs to replace a drain field based on a few key factors such as size and type of septic system.
Live green and save cash: Conserving water, composting and using fewer harsh household chemicals not only helps planet Earth – it’s good for your septic tank.
Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.
How often should a septic tank be serviced?
Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. The size of your septic tank, the number of people living in your home, and your average water usage will all impact how often your septic tank needs to be serviced.
What are the most common causes of septic tank failure?
Answer: The most common cause of septic tank failure is improper maintenance. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.
How much does it cost to pump a septic tank?
Answer: The cost to pump a septic tank is $400 on average or about $0.30 per gallon. The size of your septic tank, as well as local labor costs, will impact the cost of pumping your septic tank. Most septic tanks are between 600 and 2,000 gallons in size, meaning the average cost range is between $180 to $600.
How much does it cost to install a septic system?
Answer: The cost to install a septic tank system is between $3,060 and $9,810, on average. The size of the septic tank you choose, the land you’re installing it on, the type of system you choose, and local labor costs will all influence the total cost of installing a septic system. Anaerobic septic tanks (those that don’t need oxygen) typically cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Aerobic systems, which utilize oxygen to activate bacteria and are popular on smaller properties, usually cost between $10,000 and $20,000.
How long does a septic system last?
Answer: When septic systems are well maintained, they can last up to 30 years or more. If a septic system isn’t properly maintained, such as when it isn’t pumped regularly, it may malfunction and require costly repairs or a premature replacement. In general, septic tank pumping is recommended every 3 to 5 years to ensure the septic system lasts as long as possible.
