"I couldn't be happier with Joe and his crew.  From first contact and the time we met to get an estimate I could tell right off the bat he knew exactly what he was talking about, and was very professional about everything.  I met with 2 other contractors, and even though Home Facelifters wasn't the cheapest, I knew that they would get the job done right and on time.  They dealt with all of the city inspectors and dealt with pulling all the permits, they helped me pick out many of the different items for the house like the cabinets, counters, appliances, flooring, and even colors for the walls.  There were some things that I thought I wanted a certain way but Joe was always willing to try and explain why another way might be better, which I do appreciate.  The payment process was very simple, we did go over our original estimate, but he had told me upfront there was a chance we would find things behind the walls that we couldn't predict, and I was prepared to possibly go over by a certain amount so that wasn't a problem.  The work was done very quickly, and the quality of everything is great.  I will definitely be using Joe and his crew on future projects of mine.

"Very well. Gary answered my initial phone call and called back within 5 minutes to set up an appointment as he was in the middle of project. An appointment was set up for a couple of days later and he started painting within 2 1/2 weeks of my initial phone call. Gary was friendly, reliable and prompt. He offered advice in terms of paint color choices. He did necessary repair work needed on house before painting. In addition he offered to wash several of my large high windows and gave me access to an outdoor faucet turn-off in the basement, tasks done at no extra charge."

"Jeff came to our house the day after we called him. He personally inspected every inch of our home. He identified every issue we were facing. He then sat down at our kitchen table and answered all our questions, and explained the many options we had. He was very friendly, professional and informative.

PSI were priced at or under the 3 other bids we received, Jeff provided references, insurance, licenses and pulled all the permits. PSI was the only company to offer a 10 year warranty on the work they provided. The finished the job on schedule and actually pressure washed the siding for free to provide a complete finished product. We highly recommend PSI Clean for any job."

"I am 100 percent satisfied with what Kingdom Restoration did to my projects in my rental properties. Whakkson and his partners repaired the floor of my deck and did interior paintings in a couple of my rental properties and the results are awesome. They clean up after the job without any problem. As a Landlord, I have dealt with a lot of contractors in the past and my experience with Kingdom Restoration is very positive and will definitely use them again. Thank you Whakkson and friends!"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.
