"Very glad having Aaron A plus tree service helping remove over 10 trees near the house in 3 days of work. Given the size of the trees and the proximity to house, Aaron and his team did all the work with extreme care and efficiency. Not only he and his team have the high skills of handling tough tree removal job, but also he examined all the surrounding trees and walked with me and advised me on the health of the other trees on the property. Will definitely hire him again."

Customers say: True professional

"Everything was great from start to finish. Very reasonably priced. The huge pine we had removed was over 100 feet tall. They had all the necessary equipment to skillfully cut down the tree. It was amazing to watch. We highly recommend Hooper's Tree Service. George E."

"I decided to go with New England Tree Masters for a few reasons. One, They came highly recommended by Brian McDonald of Mcdonald Home Inspecstions, [*** Link removed ***] who performed the initial inspection of my home, Two, they are very fair in price, and three, i always see their trucks working everywhere i go between Waltham, MA and I-495 more so then any other tree service provider. That must mean that either they get all the jobs, have more teams to handle jobs, or customer just really like them. either way it's a win win. They weren't the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. Very pleased with the tree service provided. Carlos gave a very fair price and his crew did a fantastic job with their precise cuts and clean up at the end. It was like they were never there after they removed all the trees and debris. They were mindful for the most part in not hitting anything when they were cutting , but i do have to ding them a little for no paying attention to the utility line when backing up their truck into my driveway. Result was me having to call the Utility company to come out to fix due to the line now dangling 4 feet from the ground. Not a big deal, but i think they should have seen that at first. But other than that. their technique was really good and i referred them to my neighbors, who also piggy backed off me in getting their trees cut and to my friends as well."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Make sure the tree roots soak around a day before you dig the tree up for the transplant. Keep the roots wet while the tree is above ground. After the transplant is finished, provide consistent water every day for the first month or so. You don’t want to overwater the tree, but you do want to keep the roots wet so they can thrive in their new environment.

Late winter is ideal, but if you’re pruning apple trees in the spring, prune them as early as possible in the season. You want to ensure your tree is just creeping out of dormancy and hasn’t started pushing out new growth. If you prune your tree too late into spring, you generally won’t see results until the following year.

That said, there’s no pruning season for unhealthy growth. Remove dead, dying, or diseased branches as soon as you notice them, regardless of the time of year.

The best way is to start controlling tree height long before it grows too large, via careful pruning through the years. But that’s not always possible. If a tree has become too high or too large, use selective pruning to remove the most troublesome branches, one by one, without topping the tree. Gently shaping a tree like this can, over time, correct problems. You can also find growth inhibitors to spray on a tree to stop it from growing too rapidly, but use these sparingly if at all.

Cutting down a tree next to power lines is never a DIY job, and it’s a good idea to contact your utility company first. In most cases, the utility company will need to take care of any tree problems within 10 to 15 feet of power lines. If you want to remove the tree for aesthetic reasons, hire a pro to do the job. Trying to cut trees near power lines yourself can create many safety hazards, and you could be liable if you inadvertently cause damage to electrical equipment.

A palm tree's lifespan typically ranges from 40 to 100 years, though some species can live much longer. For example, certain types of Date Palm trees can live for over 200 years. The exact longevity of a palm tree is influenced by several factors, including its species, size, climate, and growing conditions. To maximize your palm's lifespan, provide proper care and maintenance, such as ensuring it gets enough sunlight, water, and nutrients, and protecting it from pests and diseases. For expert maintenance tips, consider consulting a professional arborist.
