"The problem turned out to be a burned out small electric door switch. I believe the price was way too expensive for the service performed and the price of the door switch. What more can I say? It got done."

"My solar inverter stopped working in my existing solar system, and since my original installer went out of business, I had a hard time finding someone to replace the inverter provided by SolarEdge. It was a small job, and most large companies weren’t interested, while those willing to help were booked out for at least a couple of months. I contacted Justin, and he replaced the inverter within just a few days. He was very friendly, efficient, and offered a very reasonable price. Justin was also extremely knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and kept me updated throughout the process. He arrived on time, completed the work neatly, and made sure the system was running perfectly before leaving. Overall, his professionalism, honesty, and dedication to customer satisfaction made the whole experience stress-free and smooth."

"I had an excellent experience with Stephanie, Tim, and Spencer during the installation of my mini split system. From the very beginning, they were professional, friendly and communicative. They took the time to explain how the installation process would work and made sure I understood all the benefits of swtiching to the system. I felt well informed and supported. Since the installation, the system has made a huge difference in my hosuehold. The units are quiet, efficient, and give me the ability to control the temperature in all rooms in my household. Not only does it keep the space comftorable by replacing AC's but I've noticed the air quality and drop in my electricity bills are better. I"m grateful for the work this team did and would recommend them toothers. I trust them completely and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future again. Thank you!"

Electrical questions, answered by experts

For Orange’s variable climate, opt for weather-sealed electrical boxes and frost-resistant outdoor outlets. Copper wiring is preferred for reliability, while AFCI and GFCI devices should be installed in areas prone to moisture or older wiring. Use cable rated for low temperatures and consider insulated staples to prevent wire damage in unheated spaces, which is especially important in Orange’s historic homes and rural properties.

Helpful?

In Orange, using tamper-resistant outlets and installing childproof outlet covers are essential for homes with young children. For pet owners, consider running cords through wall-mounted raceways or behind furniture to prevent chewing. In older Orange homes, updating low-mounted outlets and using insulated conduit in basements or mudrooms can add extra protection, especially during winter when pets and kids spend more time indoors.

Helpful?

In Orange, you’ll find residential electricians experienced with older farmhouses, commercial specialists for local businesses, and contractors skilled in rural power solutions like generator and solar panel installations. Some electricians focus on smart home upgrades, while others handle emergency repairs—important during winter outages. Many contractors in Orange also offer expertise in updating knob-and-tube wiring, which is common in the area’s historic homes.

Helpful?

Begin by mapping out your project’s scope and checking if your home’s wiring matches Orange’s typical older construction. Schedule work during milder months to avoid winter delays and allow for rural delivery times on specialty supplies. Coordinate with your utility provider for any service upgrades, and always plan for required inspections to ensure compliance with Orange’s local building codes and safety standards.

Helpful?

Upgrading electrical systems in Orange can help support modern appliances, home offices, and energy-efficient heating solutions—key for comfort during cold winters. Improved lighting in entryways and mudrooms is especially useful for rural homes. Smart switches and programmable thermostats help manage energy use, while reliable wiring ensures you can safely run generators or sump pumps during seasonal storms common in Orange.
