"Our last chimney cap was sloppily installed and blew off in a nor'easter. A-TEC did a nice job for a fair price, and we're having them back to do some repointing work that wasn't evident from a ground level inspection."

"Chimney Chap did an excellent job replacing the termination cap on my Vermont Castings gas stove at a reasonable cost. The two technicians who performed the work were very professional and worked hard to overcome some unforeseen installation difficulties. From my initial e-mail to the installation of the cap, Chimney Chap was very responsive. Meanwhile, some other companies I contacted were unresponsive and less interested in performing a small installation project. I will surely contact Chimney Chap, Inc. in the future if I experience any problems with my gas stove."

"My chimney was not in good condition. The sun was shining through between the bricks, not up to code and no cap in place. Gordy repointed the entire chimney, extended the flue to bring it up to code, installed a cap and swept/cleaned it. Gordy is a very nice guy and did good work for a reasonable price. I would recommend and use his services again."

He did say that I received an in town discount, as I live in same town as his business **Please note: I am not aware of the current Chimney Sweeping Prices. This may be a fair price. "I selected Bob's Magic Broom based on feedback from Angie's List. Last month, when my furnace was serviced, the serviceman noted that chimney was not drawing as it should and recommended a cleaning. I checked my records and the last cleaning was in 2000. We have two flues - one for the furnace and one for a fireplace which is almost never used. The sweep (Joe) checked and fireplace and agreed it did not need cleaning, but the furnace flue was very bad and almost blocked. The cleaning took about an hour from beginning to end. The sweep cleaned up. I had no mess at all. I asked Joe how often I should have the chimney cleaned and he said about every other year. What I appreciated was that the service was prompt, courteous, and no hard upsell. I would definitely use Bob's Magic Broom again and highly recommend them to all."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."
