"I had the estimate for the work done which went fine, then called to book the appointment. Was required to put down $200 for the $650 projected repair cost. I did this thinking there would be no issues between then and the repair date. My wife is quite pregnant and we had to move up the repair date to get the nursery ready in time for their birth. (twins) When I called to cancel this appointment and seek a refund of the $200, I was told that the window to cancel was 3 days from the scheduling and that I was forfeit my deposit. This information is in the contract, but I did not catch it at the time. I could only imagine if this were a bigger project and something like this happened to someone else. For the cost of $200 Pioneer Basement has not only lost me as a future customer, but forced my hand in posting several poor reviews such as this one. For any future customers, pay very close attention to this and hope "life" doesn't happen to you in between. Good luck."

"We hired Prime Construction to update our outdoor space, including placing new stepping stones, redoing the pavers, and rebuilding the stairs leading to our pool area. Nick and Mike were professional, punctual, and paid great attention to detail throughout the project. The stepping stones were placed evenly and with care, blending perfectly into the landscape. The pavers now look clean, level, and well-aligned, greatly improving the look and safety of the area. The rebuilt stairs are sturdy and beautifully finished, making the walk to the pool much more enjoyable. To top it off they incased the drain in cement the length of the back of my driveway and did it all in just over a day. I used to have a small pond in my backyard, especiallu with all the crazy rain we have been having but the drain diverts it beautifully!"

They took 3 months and charged me $2000 too, and never fixed my AC. Eventually, they said I need to replace it after spending all that money. They also left a huge mess in my house.
