"The 1964 bulkhead I had out back was replaced a year ago, but the wood and insulation underneath (the ceiling of the walkway underground to my basement under the back living room) took in water damage and the area was very musty for years. Tom Morneault of Morneault Environmental was the only guy I could find that would not only treat the wood to remove anything growing on it/get rid of the smell, but his team also removed old wood and insulation and re-insulated for me as part of the deal, which was still hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other companies I talked to, which would only remove the old wood and insulation, they don't put anything back in. Tom's team was here by 8:30 this morning and by 2pm they were done and it looks fantastic and smells crisp and clean. They didn't even stop for breaks or have to make any trips to get supplies, they had them all in the van, including the insulation boards. Very highly recommended if anyone is in the same situation."

To top it off they incased the drain in cement the length of the back of my driveway and did it all in just over a day. "I moved into a 2 year old house to immediately find water seeping into the basement. I found some signs of it around the baseboard moldings. I called a couple of companies, one of them Drycrete and another, an interior french drain company. The french drain company wanted to jack hammer my finished basement and install one of their systems, an additional sump pump, and a ton of exterior work for pump discharge. That was going to cost 15-20k. Drycrete on the other hand, walked around the perimeter and noticed the obvious - foundation cracks. Those are cheap to fix, but not a guarantee. In any case, I decided to start from the top down, cracks first, 20k french drain later. The process for a crack seal is pretty straight forward and if I wasn't as pannicked I would have attempted it myself. They used Poly to inject into the crack and it worked. The basemet is dry. My sheetrock is open and the wall is still bare from the spray foam along the crack lines. I constantly measure the moisture content in the baseplates and it's slowly getting back to normal. But the moral of the story is - whatever company you bring on to a job site, whatever sperialty it is that they do, that's the solution they will likely propose to you. Drycrete did a good job as far as getting the right diagnosis. If I had to change anything about my experience with Drycrete, maybe I woould have requested for them to put up Zipwalls around the work area. Drywall and concrete dust went everywhere. Overall, good work y'all."
