"He replaced single pained windows that made a a overall window with energy efficient windows. He did a great job taking off the triangle windows and enclosing the area. He then replaced interior doors with solid doors and replaced a exterior door. Then he replaced a spiral staircase with a traditional staircase with a landing. This came out unbelievably good. I highly recommend him and his team. Friends who are in the industry were very impressed with his work. I highly recommend him."

"Mike is the best contractor we have had the opportunity to work with. We were skeptical at first because most other contractors we have worked with over promise and under perform, as well as do not return phone calls / emails. Not Mike. For our kitchen project, he went out of his way to insure every piece of the project was finished and passed his own QC (which in many cases was more stringent than our own QC). He came up with a few ideas that really made the project shine (like the addition of an archway to separate two ceiling heights). Mike also was not afraid to express his opinion based on his experiences and this saved us a lot of time and money. Mike always told you what he was doing, when it would be done and what the next day consisted of so you could prepare yourself. His helper (also named Mike), is also a professional. Care was taken to insure proper set up and take down of anything needing to be installed. Each day, the job site would be cleaned to make the rest of the house more livable during construction. We are extremely impressed with the work and talents of Mike Carlon and are very happy we had him complete our kitchen remodel. "Steve is a fantastic craftsman of fine built in cabinets. We worked with Steve to design and construct 4 spaces in the home - a new mudroom, a new basement kitchen in a newly built entertainment space, a new basement mudroom and bathroom. We chose a different look in each space - stained walnut, lacquered wood with gold inlay, and painted wood - he did a phenomenal job throughout the home. Steve is patient and kind, and a good listener to understand what the client wants. He worked relentlessly to make sure the color matched my expectations on wood he stained. His hardware and hardware installation is impressive - all of my cabinets are functioning beautifully 2 years later with zero misalignment occurring. He is creative - added a hidden cubby in my mudroom wall paneling! I am so thrilled with his craftsmanship and hope to use him again if i can get around to redoing the last 4 rooms wit plumbing they haven’t been done since the house was built."
