His crew righted the tree immediately and saved its root system, also saving us a lot of money. The company has the intimacy of a small business, but I have been surprised by the breadth of their capabilities. They have a landscape architect with decades of experience. Many of the team members have a deep knowledge of botany. They have heavy equipment and take care of stonework and landscape lighting. If you hire the Narrow Lane for snow removal, the operations director will send you an email before EVERY winter storm discussing the forecast and the company's plan for your property. You can call or email them at any time to modify the plan based on your needs, for example, your work schedule. In summary, the Narrow Lane is a high-performing company that adheres to its principles and will take very good care of you and your property!"

"Received a phone call the morning of the service asking what I wanted done, which I thought was unusual because shouldn't he know what to do by what I ordered off the website?. He was friendly enough when he arrived. In looking at my lawn, he said that I would need new soil and that he would try his best. He made one pass with a machine, but not on the entire lawn; just in one "line" from right to left in the middle of the lawn. He said that I should water than lawn every day and every night. As he was saying goodbye, I saw a coworker sprinkle by hand what I suppose was grass seed. The "sprinkling" lasted less than 1 minute. There were additional smaller areas of lawn (next to the driveway and at the end of the driveway). I pointed these out to him at HIS request during the initial consultation. I cannot confirm if any work was performed on these areas, since the entire visit lasted 5 minutes. Definitely not worth the $139 and definitely would not hire again. If he had said that seeding the lawn would be a waste of time because of the poor condition of the soil, that would have been helpful. I would have appreciated his honesty. Perhaps he could have suggested or offered more services to help with the issue. Simply saying "you need new soil" is not very helpful. Also, performing a service that you think won't help the customer is not professional. If you think the service won't help, then be honest and don't waste the customer's money OR suggest alternative services you can offer the customer."

"John's Landscaping Service replied right back to me when I left a message looking for a quote on service.  They said they would send someone out the next day to look at my yard and then prepare a quote.  The quote came back at $750, which included two clean-ups, one in early Nov. and one later in Nov.  The price was more than I was used to paying, but because I have a fairly large yard with dozens of trees surrounding it, I knew it would be a big effort.  I needed to have the work done, so I went with it.
I wish that I was able to talk to someone when they came out to look at the yard and give a quote.  First of all, I happened to come home when the first clean-up was being performed, and there was a section of my property that wasn't cleaned up.   I had to explain to the team where my property lines were because the property lines aren't necessarily symmetrical.  This could have been avoided if I met someone when they came by to make an estimate.  Second, both times the team performed the clean-up, they left a 4-5 ft strip of undisturbed leaves that runs along the border of my neighbor's driveway (so about 15-20 feet).  My neighbor has already cleaned his yard, so now there's a whole patch of stuff that has to be cleaned.  It's right on the property line, but 1) now it looks ridiculous, 2) I'm probably going to have to clean up the rest of it, and 3) if there was a question about where the property line was, or if they should go right to the driveway, why didn't someone ask?  When I mow the lawn in the summer, I don't leave a patch unmowed.  Ultimately, the service was fine, but I'm not sure if I will use John's Landscaping again due to price and some of these minor inconveniences.

"Anderson replaced a set of stairs had gotten hit by a plow blade a two years ago. Set he replaced were precast abd hollow. He did a fantastic job with the new ones, NO precast or hollow. I have solid stairs!!!!! The job was completed fast, Anderson and his assistant were awesome!! They explained to me, were courteous snd respectful they paid to detail! I woukd highly recommend them for any Concrete projects! I am thinking of a new patio next year. Concrete Solutions will definitely be getting the call!!!
