The quality of the work was excellent. The team from JLS was very friendly and easy to work with. Someone came by every day to check on the work and to see if I had any problems or question The work site was cleaned up every night. My overall experience with JLS was excellent and I would recommend them.

I was completely blown away by the work that we had done. Lisa, who was the designer was very attentive and quick to return emails and really put a lot of thought into my project. She always responded to emails within an hour and was very honest with me when it came to ideas that i had for the project. She provided a detailed drawing of my property with her ideas for plantings, stepping stones, etc. this made my life very easy by not having to imagine what she was thinking. PJ, who was the foreman on the job was also a great guy and on top of things. He always had my best interests in mind when giving his opinion about grading the yard and what would be best for my children, which was my highest priority. Walter was one of the workers who did a lot of the grading and he was also in constant communication with me. Walter and PJ came up with, and implemented a swing-set area that doubled as a retaining wall to bring up the grade on the lower side of my yard and it came out amazing. We had some irrigation issues at first because some areas were being over-watered. Nick, who was in charge of the irrigation came out to my house multiple times, after all of the work had already been paid for, to make sure that my timers were taken care of and the grass remained in tip-top shape. After paying in full, I still got immediate responses from all parties in this company and they provided immediate solutions within a day or two. They could have put me on the back burner to handle current customers, but they remained attentive to my needs. I plan to use them for cleanups and for all of my fertilizing. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

I wasn’t satisfied with the clean up. They left leaves in the garden. My husband cleaned up some of the leaves. I called another company and they did a great job for less money. When I emailed the receptionist she seemed very rude and curt. The workers took my broom too,when I asked the receptionist she said they didn’t have it. Needless to say, I won’t call them back.

John and his workers did an excellent job on snow removal at our home this year - and what a year it was! Prompt removal, and coming during the night if timing called for it. We'll definitely use them again next year.

They were able to fit the work in prior to the first snow. The work was done promptly and quickly. Some areas had not been done for some time.

I contacted four landscapers through Angie's List. Two never responded; one got back to me but couldn't do the work for weeks. John's responded quickly, popped by to survey the job (without me even knowing!) and was able to schedule it within the week. Two men came by and worked for three or four hours on the bed. It was too tough for a tiller, so in the end they used an industrial aerator to loosen the dirt/roots, then raked it out. They did a great job, were very careful of the surrounding garden decorations, and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. The job came in right on estimate, despite it being harder than they thought.

It went very well. The small wall was not initially part of the plans, but they were very quick at getting us an estimate. With the addition of the wall, it cost more than we had expected, but the slope of the yard made the wall necessary to have a level patio, so the additional cost was more than worth it. The workers were very meticulous and did a terrific job. I would recommend John's to a friend or neighbor.

They did a good job. My property has some extended areas, and they missed one. When I called to let them know, they sent a team out and took care of it right away.

I signed up half way thru the winter. They responded well and very timely. I thought their prices were high. I was particularly annoyed that they came out to plow when just a 1/2 inch of snow fell. I did not see any other snow plows on the streets that day. They charge minimum $125 for this. I think they do not need to come out when 2 inches or less of snow has fallen. The cost below is for several events.

Work was done promptly and seemed to go well. We then had hard rais that washed away the seed before it took. Am waiting to see how this will be hadled to remediate in the spring. Jury is still out.

It went very well. the work was excellent, everything was done on time, I was 100% satisfied. They sent a planner in the Winter to look at the space and show me the plans. Within the exact budget I requested, no extra costs.
