I wanted to paint the walls in the stairwell which had wallpaper. Contractor chose to remove the wallpaper and paint instead of new plaster. The walls weren't in great shape and the painters didn't smooth some bad patch work so I had some areas that don't look great. Ill start by saying particular does not come close to describing my level of attention to detail. Our wallpaper pattern is intricate and required a plan to get it right. Jimmy took the time to discuss areas which might be of concern before getting started. For example, we have about an inch of clearance below crown molding and above the window trim. Jimmy was incredibly patient, even changing out a strip that I was focusing on. Seriously, it is perfect, I could not find a pattern issue even if I tried. Jimmy went above and beyond papering our simple white light switch covers. The compliments are pouring in! Not only was Jimmy professional, arriving on time, using his own tools and supplies, and straightening up at the end of the day, but he was very personable. He was so kind teaching me about his craft and we had great conversations about Ireland. His rates are very competitive. Of note, I had already obtained the paper before hiring Jimmy. He came to our home and completed the job in one day."
