"We first had J&E come to do the leaf removal. Jorge and his crew were functual, professional and did a very nice job. We were very happy with their service so we had them come to do a larger job the following week. They did a great job. We would definitely hire them again."

"Marvin is hard-working. He & his son blew around all the leaves & debris & made a huge noise, then raked & swept it up & carried it away. They blew dirt on the back deck & then blew it off again. I've agreed to have him mow every 2 weeks."

Small jobs welcome

"Dave's communication was great from the start. We hired him for a yard cleanup which included weed whacking, leaf disposal, and gathering trash from the yard and carrying it up to our front yard. Price was reasonable. His other employee had been injured, so he showed up and did a great job as a solo worker. The project took him two days. He took his time to ensure things looked good. The only thing I would have changed is making sure there was an end of project walk through before he left. He texted to me to tell me I was all set, so I checked his work after he had left. There were a few things he had forgotten to do. When I texted him letting him know the yard looked good, but the trash needed to be moved to the driveway, he turned around to finish the job. I assisted him in moving the trash and brush to the front yard. Overall, he did a nice job, had great communication, took feedback well. I would hire him again knowing to ask for a final walk through."

"Justin came out and estimated the job just when he said he would and then did the work right on time too. I was totally pleased with how he got the job done on the last day of the year when he was still doing leaf removal."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.

You do not have to remove lead paint if the surface is not chipping or peeling or if there are no pregnant people or children under the age of six who live in or regularly visit your home. Lead paint is a particular risk for young children whose brains and bodies are not fully developed. Experts strongly recommend that you call a pro to remove lead paint if it’s peeling or flaking, no matter who lives in the home. You can experience lead poisoning by breathing in or ingesting just a small amount of it.

The best disposal method for hazardous waste is recycling or donation, if possible. That way, the world can reduce its consumption of raw materials and the volume at which materials have to be treated and disposed of. If recycling or donation is not an option, most waste can be disposed of through landfills or incinerators, but their collection and treatment are separate from regular day-to-day waste disposal.

By using PPE, sealing work areas, and following containment procedures.

The best way to remove lead paint is by wet hand sanding and removing all dust and residue with a HEPA vacuum. Professionals may also strip and scrape lead-based paint with a paint scraper. In some cases, you may choose to have a pro encapsulate or enclose your lead-based paint surface by covering it with a sealant or a new material. You may also choose to replace the material altogether.
