"We had a large pile of Beulah disposal. Pablo showed up when he said he would, removed the brush, and raked the area. He was professional and we would ue them again."

"It went great. The tree was removed first and was done quickly and without any issue. Next the roots had to be removed under the sidewalk and I was concerned that the slabs might crack in the process. Fortunately, Justin and his crew worked very diligently and lifted the slabs without incident. Once the slabs were lifted the roots were cut out and the slabs went back in place perfectly. Needless to say I was relieved since I did not have to have the slab of sidewalk replaced and incur incremental cost. Everything was left neat and tidy."

"EXCELLENT! They cleaned the entire property which was full of leaves, acorns, and tree debris. It looks amazing and just in time for my son who will be home from his Military deployment. :)"

"Re: Yard cleanup I found them on Angi after requesting a quote. In under an 1 hour, they called me, went to the property, and provided a quote. I texted out to other companies at the same time too. I booked them and they were there the next day, even with potential rain in the forecast. We are selling our rental property and it looked like a jungle before the team arrived. After the work was done, the owner texted me photos before and after the job. I can't recommend them enough. We live 1.5 hours away and we didn't have to travel at all. I highly recommend them!"

"I hired D&G Landscape & Masonry to do a major spring cleanup of my father‘s property. It had been several years since the property had been maintained and D&G arrived early yesterday morning with a crew and I can’t thank them enough for the amazing job they did. Everything was so overgrown that it was overwhelming to even begin to think how we would get everything removed. The crew went to work and removed a truckload or more of weeds, Japanese bamboo, and every other kind of weed you could imagine. The place has been completely transformed. They also removed the front lawn and put soil down and seeded it and did an amazing job. Every weed on the property was removed. They worked so hard and did such an amazing job. I cannot thank them enough."

Small jobs welcome

"The job was done as requested, the service was available within 1 day of me making an inquiry, the worker arrived the day of on time and was very professional, the job was completed within a few hours, the work done was adequate but there is room for improvement as the thoroughness of the cleanup was not to expectation as some smaller leaves and mid-large tree branches still remained on the grass and in flower beds. The price was competitive for the square footage and moderate leaf coverage and they also hauled away leaves that were already pre-packed."

"The response was very quick and the job was done well, however, I felt the price was too high. It was late in the season for leaf pickup (delay due to problems our landscaper had encountered) and I needed the job done, so paid the price."

"I called and the owner, I think, Steve answered, I explained what I needed removed and was at my house in 15 min to give me an estimate. The price was fantastic. I was nervous he was going to throw out a crazy number, but it was VERY reasonable. His guy came over in about 30 min and took it all away. Between the call, removal and payment it was in less than an hour. EXCELLENT service. I would highly recommend!!!!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

The best disposal method for hazardous waste is recycling or donation, if possible. That way, the world can reduce its consumption of raw materials and the volume at which materials have to be treated and disposed of. If recycling or donation is not an option, most waste can be disposed of through landfills or incinerators, but their collection and treatment are separate from regular day-to-day waste disposal.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.

The best way to remove lead paint is by wet hand sanding and removing all dust and residue with a HEPA vacuum. Professionals may also strip and scrape lead-based paint with a paint scraper. In some cases, you may choose to have a pro encapsulate or enclose your lead-based paint surface by covering it with a sealant or a new material. You may also choose to replace the material altogether.

Lead exposure poses significant health risks, including neurological, developmental, and behavioral disorders, especially critical in young children and fetuses.
